Mark the date, everybody! 🗓️😍 On 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM (March 28, 2026), we unite with millions around the world to celebrate Earth Hour — a global movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature that encourages people to switch off their lights for one hour to show support for our planet. 🌏

✨ What to do:
- Turn off lights and unused devices
- Spend time with family or reflect
- Share and spread awareness

📅Today marks the 💧𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲💧, annually held on the 22 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 1993.. Known as the United Nations Observance focusing on the 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 🩵

According to United Nations, 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲 🔆 𝚌𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚋𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚜 water and 𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚜𝚎𝚜 𝚊𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜🗣️ of the 2.1 billion people👥living without ❌ access to safe water. It is about 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒍𝒆✊ 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒍𝒐𝒃𝒂𝒍 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒔💪. A core focus of World Water Day is to 🙌𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙖𝙡 6: 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙮 2030

Summer is just around the corner☀🍦. It sure will be 🔥 and dehydrating🤤 due to the change of weather🌊. Everyday, millions of 𝗀𝖺𝗅𝗅𝗈𝗇𝗌 𝗈𝖿 𝗐𝖺𝗍𝖾𝗋 𝗀𝗈 𝗍𝗈 𝗐𝖺𝗌𝗍𝖾 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗅𝗈𝗌𝖾 𝗂𝗍'𝗌 𝗏𝖺𝗅𝗎𝖾 due to the improper management of a certain society/individual👊👊. Benjamin Franklin👤 once said, "ᵂʰᵉⁿ ᵗʰᵉ ʷᵉˡˡ ⁱˢ ᵈʳʸ, ʷᵉ ᵏⁿᵒʷ ᵗʰᵉ ᵛᵃˡᵘᵉ ᵒᶠ ʷᵃᵗᵉʳ. " Must we wait for the worst before we take action🤔🤔? Must we suffer the consequences in order to claim the responsibilities that we've done? 😰😰

A drop💧 of this precious liquid can save a drying plant🥀, a liter or two can help revive aquatic animals in danger🐬🐡. Humans can survive only up to 3 or 4 days without water❌🍶, subsequently, our life ends.
❗𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚❗. Some countries suffer from extreme drought 🔆 loose their source of food and income due to the 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤/𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 they have🚱. ᯓ did you know glaciers store a large portion of the world’s fresh water and help regulate our planet’s temperature? Even if we don’t see them, they play a big role in 𝕜𝕖𝕖𝕡𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕝𝕚𝕗𝕖 𝕓𝕒𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕖𝕕 🌍 ❕

ᯓ But here’s something to 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕜 about: as global temperatures rise, unfortunately glaciers are 𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 than they should ! which affect ecosystems, water sources, and communities all around the WORLD, including ours. BUT HEY !! Keep in mind that simple actions like saving energy, reducing waste, and spreading awareness can already 𝕞𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕒 𝕕𝕚𝕗𝕗𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕔𝕖.

𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ✨🌱

Last March 13, 2026, the Science Dynamic Thinkers Club successfully conducted Wave 4 of the “𝘼 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙖𝙜𝙨 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙜𝙣” at the Naga City People’s Mall. During this activity, SDTC officers distributed 𝟯,𝟮𝟬𝟬 handmade paper bags made from recycled newspapers to local vendors as an eco-friendly alternative to plastic packaging. 🛍️🤩

For this wave, the paper bags were thoughtfully created by our 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟎 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, whose effort and dedication helped support SDTC’s continuing advocacy for sustainability and environmental responsibility. Through this initiative, they were able to contribute something meaningful to the community while promoting more eco-friendly practices in the market. ✨

This initiative reflects the effort and commitment of the students who took part in creating these paper bags, showing how small actions can make a positive impact on our environment. SDTC would also like to extend its appreciation to 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗜𝘃𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘇, 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗔𝗻𝗮, 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘇 for facilitating and guiding the making of the paper bags throughout the different waves of this campaign. 🥳🫶
