Still energized from an incredible day at the Gemini Academy for Higher Education held at the University of the Philippines—the country's premier university!

Last May 22, 2026, faculty, administrators, and staff from across the UP System came together in a hybrid learning experience, joining us onsite at the School of Statistics Auditorium in UP Diliman and online from campuses across the country to explore how AI can help shape the future of teaching, learning, research, and institutional productivity.

Together, we dove into the power of Gemini, Google’s AI assistant, discovering practical ways to enhance creativity, streamline workflows, strengthen AI literacy, and unlock new possibilities inside and beyond the classroom. From responsible AI use to custom Gems, NotebookLM, and Gemini for Workspace, participants experienced firsthand how AI can become a trusted partner in education.
