Today, we honor all mothers, grandmothers, single moms, and mother figures for the endless love and support they give to the people around them. Thank you for your sacrifices, patience, and unconditional love that continue to shape lives every day. ✨

The Communicators for Development (CODE) officially introduces and welcomes the 19 members of the newly established "Batch Amplifier."

𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗠 𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗚 🎥 🏳️‍🌈

The Communicators for Development (CODE), in partnership with the University Gender and Development Office (UGADO), successfully held the film viewing for its short film competition entries, 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 2026: 𝙁𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚, last April 17, 2026 at the R&E Amphitheater.

The production teams, together with students and their supporters, gathered with enthusiasm and excitement to witness the masterpieces from the four productions: I Wish We Had More Time by Sciven Studios; Dun sa Puno ng Kamatsile by Muni-Muni Production; To Die A Second Time by Sine CLSU; and Kalimbahin by Para Kai Production. The event also served as the awarding ceremony for the competition.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Mark Bryan T. Gusi, CODE Adviser, emphasized the importance of collaborations in advocating for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community, noting, “Everyone deserves to be loved regardless of gender.” On behalf of the organization, he also expressed his appreciation and encouraged everyone to continue supporting and participating in such activities, while reaffirming the organization's commitment to making the competition more organized next year.

The Communicators for Development (CODE), in partnership with the University Gender and Development Office (UGADO) and the University Supreme Student Council (USSC), held the live performances of the Juana Sing 2026 singing and songwriting competition on April 14, 2026.

With the theme “𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙇𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙨” the event took place at the Oval Grounds as part of this year’s University Week celebration. Nine (9) participants performed original compositions celebrating gender advocacy, especially for women empowerment.

Following the performances was the awarding of winners and special awards.

CODE gave thanks to the students, faculty, and partners who supported the initiative and reaffirmed their commitment to provide more platforms for advocating gender equality through communication.
