CLSU ROTC Cadets Completed RSCT-ARAPT 2026 and Received Awards
The Central Luzon State University ROTC Unit congratulated the Third Class Advance Cadet Officers who completed the ROTC Summer Camp Training (RSCT/MS-3) and (ARAPT MS-31/32) under the leadership of officers from batch โMAGILASโ CL 75-27.
SANSIKLAB Cl 01-2026 includes 308 cadets from Region 3 who finished the 28-day training at Camp Gen Servillano A Aquino in Tarlac City from May 18 to June 14, 2026. Three officers from Central Luzon State University received specific awards:
CADET 2LT JAVRIL DE GUZMAN
Received the Order of Gabriela Silang for achieving a 91.33% average in physical proficiency among 114 female cadets.
CADET 2LT ORLHANA NICOLE DP LAPIG
Ranked second among the 308 cadets with a 90.80% average in academic proficiency.
CADET 2LT AERON JAMES V GABRIEL
Ranked third among the 308 cadets with a 90.73% average in academic proficiency.
A total of 20 cadets from the university completed this phase, which focused on discipline, endurance, and preparation for leadership roles.
The CLSU ROTC Unit acknowledges the achievements of the cadets. Their commitment maintains the unit's record of producing leaders.

CLSU-ROTCU Cadets Serve as Medics during YAPAK 2026
CLSU-ROTCU cadets served as medics during Day 1 and Day 2 of YAPAK: CLSU Educational Tour 2026, providing basic support to help ensure the safety and well-being of participants throughout the activity.
The engagement allowed the cadets to apply the competencies developed through ROTC training, including basic emergency response, coordination, discipline, teamwork, and service orientation.
Their participation reflects the practical application of ROTC training in support of the immediate CLSU community and its stakeholders.

CLSU ROTC participates in the RSCT-ARAPT 2026
Twenty cadets from the Central Luzon State University ROTC Unit arrived at Camp Gen. Servilliano A. Aquino in San Miguel, Tarlac City yesterday, May 17, 2026. Led by their upperclass officers, the Third Class Advance Cadet Officers will now start the ROTC Summer Camp Training (RSCT) and Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) MS 31โ32 Class 01-2026.
The training is designed to build discipline, resilience, and cooperation among the participants.
The CLSU ROTC unit express their utmost support and confidence to the 20 courageous cadets. Malalakas, tumitigas, GREEN COBRAS!

AFP OJ9 conducts operational readiness evaluation of CLSU ROTC Unit
The Organization and Development Division, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Reservist and Retiree Affairs (OJ9), Armed Forces of the Philippines, conducted the Evaluation and Assessment of Operational Readiness of the Central Luzon State University Reserve Officersโ Training Corps (CLSU ROTC) Unit on 11 May 2026.
The assessment forms part of the continuing evaluation of ROTC units led by the NSTP Head/ ROTC Sub-Unit In-charge, Asst. Professor Zorille DC Villaflores to determine training capability, organizational readiness, administrative compliance, and the effectiveness of program implementation for Calendar Year 2026.
During the visit, the evaluation team led by LTC ROY R LOPEZ PAF (GSC), Chief, Organization and Development Division, OJ9, AFP, inspected the unitโs administrative systems, logistics support, records management, training facilities, and cadet formations and drills. The activity also reviewed the unitโs overall preparedness in delivering military instruction and sustaining ROTC operations in accordance with Armed Forces of the Philippines standards and policies.
The assessment further highlighted the accomplishments and operational initiatives of the CLSU ROTC Unit, including its continuing training programs, institutional support mechanisms, and participation in regional and university activities that contribute to cadet development and reserve force readiness. The information briefing was presented by the ROTCU's Commandant, MAJ MELANIE G ANTONIO AGS PA (RES).
The evaluation concluded with documentation and validation of the unitโs current operational status and readiness benchmarks as part of the AFPโs continuing efforts to strengthen ROTC programs nationwide.
The 301 Laang Kawal CDC Nueva Ecija commemorates the heroism of Lapu-Lapu, the native chieftain who led Filipino warriors to victory against the Spanish forces of Ferdinand Magellan during the Battle of Mactan in 1521.
This historic event symbolizes courage, patriotism, and the Filipino spirit of defending sovereignty.
For LAANG KAWAL and ROTC Cadets , Lapu-Lapu Day serves as a reminder of duty, discipline, leadership, and unwavering commitment to protect the nation and uphold honor in service to the country.
