Last September 24-26, 2025, the HEU
PeerLink participated in the Handayag Fest in celebration of the 76th Founding Anniversary of Southern Christian College with the theme, “RESET: Responsive Education for Societal Empowerment and Transformation.”

With the initiative and commitment of the HEU PeerLink members, and the support of the advisers, it became successful, fun, and a memorable connection among peers—sharing this milestone achievement through compassion, kindness, and small gestures of love.

The 𝐇𝐄𝐔 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤 has successfully conducted this year's 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 last 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟏–𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, with the theme: “𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞.”

This annual training has always been more than just a program—it serves as a meaningful space for growth, reflection, and renewal of purpose. It led us to our “whys”, reflecting on why we chose to be a peer and the deeper purpose of being one. It fuels the Peer Facilitators to be empowered and equipped with the knowledge and skills they need as they respond to the call of those in need.

It has always been a meaningful experience—made even more special by the presence of new members, whose enthusiasm brings renewed energy, and by the wisdom and fresh perspectives shared by our inspirational speaker. These powerful moments of connection, learning, and transformation are what make each year’s training something truly special—an experience that we always look forward to witnessing and being part of.

With this, we thank each and every one who made this event a success and truly impactful. To our inspirational speaker, Sir Kent Cloyd M. Llaban; the 𝐆𝐓𝐒𝐔 faculty and staff headed by Ma’am Debbie S. SCC LETS GO 2025:

Last August 01–03, 2025, the Student Affairs and Services conducted the most awaited SCC Leadership Encounter and Training for Student Governance and Organizations (LETS GO) for the Higher Education Unit. It was joined by several officers and members from different organizations, including PeerLink.

The 3-day leadership training wasn’t just about learning how to lead — it was about rediscovering why we lead. It grounded us in the purpose of why we give service to others, and how this selfless act creates a positive change around us.

It was filled with moving and inspirational talks from young leaders in our province, followed by soul-stirring recollection activities that helped us reconnect with our values, and energizing team-building activities that reminded us of the power of unity — how every moment was a step toward growth, not just as leaders, but as people.

From there, we learned that leadership isn’t a title — it’s a mindset, a commitment! This experience reminded us that the best leaders are those who listen deeply, act with integrity, and lift others as they climb.

Our huge gratitude and warm congratulations to all the people behind this successful event!

The HEU PeerLink joined the Club Recruitment Day for this year— and it turned out to be an absolute blast!

The Peerlink Organization under the Guidance and Testing Services Unit of SCC is now accepting applications for new members who are dedicated to promoting student welfare, academic excellence, and peer support.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
1. Must be a bona fide student of Southern Christian College
2. Must not hold major positions in two (2) or more student organizations or clubs
3. Must have no grade lower than 2.50
4. Must be willing to dedicate time, effort, and active participation in all Peerlink activities
5. Preferably a 2nd or 3rd year college student

To fulfill their commitment to service and leadership, the HEU PeerLink concluded the academic year with an outreach program held today, May 27, 2025, at Barangay Malamote, Midsayap, Cotabato.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the residents of Barangay Malamote, led by their Barangay Chairperson, Hon. Rosalia E. Cardoza, for their warm welcome and unwavering support.

Special thanks are also due to the Guidance and Testing Services Unit, under the leadership of Ms. Debbie S. Dasang, RGC, as well as to our devoted PeerLink advisers, Ms. Epifania C. Mapandala and Mr. Kirk M. Casuyon.

We also acknowledge the dedication of our HEU PeerLink peers, whose time, effort, and commitment made this initiative truly meaningful and impactful.

The HEU PeerLink has successfully wrapped up this year’s Evaluation and Planning, held last May 24–25, 2025 at JACS' Hilltop Resort, Kidapawan City.

The collaborative spirit, shared wisdom, laughter, and tears made it a truly unforgettable and meaningful experience.

As we looked back on the impactful events of this academic year, we honored the passion and dedication of each PeerLink member who made it all possible. A special moment was also dedicated to our outgoing peers, whose invaluable contributions and inspiring legacy will continue to shape our journey forward.

Our deepest gratitude to the Guidance and Testing Services Unit, especially our PeerLink advisers, for their unwavering support and for creating spaces that strengthen both purpose and connection.
