Disengage was formed back in 2011 and was considered a side-project to the members of the band. Disengage became RedHorse' Muziklaban finalist back in 2012.
The genre is arguably in between hardcore and metalcore as the members of the band have different influences. The start of the band's career BREAKOUT! Disengage had its first official mixing of the song "Deliverance" under the famous Tower Of Doom Records in 2014. It became one of the reasons of the breakout of the band with more shows locally across the cities of the islands of Central Visayas, P
