PRICE INCREASE AGAIN? 😢

In a span of only 5 months, RAM and SSD prices have increased up to 400% (or more). This is due to the rise of Artificial Intelligence, where big companies are implementing the use of AI in which they would need to "hoard" RAMs and SSDs in order for this implementation to be smooth and successful. And because of this, RAMs and SSDs are currently in a shortage of supply for consumers making it more expensive.

To put it in simple terms, AI uses a lot of computing power.
RAM/SSD = POWER
MORE RAM/SSD = MORE POWER
With more power, the more successful these companies using AI will be.

Now, here comes another factor in the rise of these prices, the oil increase.

Yes, laptops/computers do not use oil directly, but production does. Shipping does. Operations does.

Now, it is not only the RAMs and SSDs that will take the hit of increasing prices, but all IT components generally will gradually increase due to the rise of oil prices.

All we can say is, take care of your laptop, computer, cellphone, or your gadgets in general, as these prices would not drop anytime soon.
