Bakit napaka importante ng pag trim ng kuko ng rabbits natin?
We think that this will help breeders, either nag uumpisa pa lang or experienced na, to understand kung bakit napaka importante ng pag trim ng kuko, especially sa mga MASSIVE na breed, like this TG in our herd.
We also have visited a number of rabbit farms and we noticed na madalas tong nababalewala.
Kapag kasi napabayaan lang natin na humahaba ang kuko ng mga rabbits natin, here would be the main problems that we'll encounter:
1. Their feet would be positioned in a weird angle, and magsisimula sila to move in an unnatural way to ease the discomfort kahit sa pagtayo nila, and further, this would cause problems with their joints, especially to large breed of rabbits.
2. Long nails tend to curl pababa, and even puncture the paws.

We have to keep in mind that these domesticated breeds, either meat or pet type rabbits, are very sensitive to pain and stress.
