After the release of the 1st tranche of Household Livelihood Assistance (HLA) as part of the Typhoon Opong Recovery Project of the Philippine Red Cross under the support from International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and German Red Cross (GRC), we conducted a usage monitoring to ensure that the 429 beneficiaries have utilized the cash they have received for their intended Livelihood proposals.

The purpose of the usage monitoring is to ensure that they utilized the funds received, this is a precondition for the release of the final tranche of the HLA grant.

These Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA) measures fosters transparency and accountability for the support we received from our partners as well as to gain feedback from the community.

We would like to thank our hardworking Project Team as well as our volunteers and BaReCom.
