REQUIREMENTS:

✓At least 12-14 yrs old by December 2024
✓Photocopy of his/her Report Card (SF9) with 1st and 2nd quarter grade with the average of 80% or above.
✓Certification from the Principal, stating that he/she is a bonified Grade 6 pupil of the school, and of Good Moral character.
✓Coming from a poor family with monthly income of 5,000 or less
✓Not a son/daughter of a graduate from the Sisters of Mary School, or have no brothers/sisters who are alumni or who are presently enrolled in The Sisters of Mary School.
✓Accompanied by one of his/her Parents of Guardian on the examination day.
✓Photocopy of his/her Birth Certificate (PSA/NSO/LCR) on the examination day.

“Bunso, Kumusta Ka! Program”

It was indeed a delightful and fruitful visit with one of our bunso, Pauline Sanchez, from the 28th batch.

We gathered together and exchanged valuable insights and experiences that enriched our understanding and strengthened our bonds. Each narrative shared brought us closer and inspired us to strive for greater achievements together. As we reflect on these interactions, we are reminded of the importance of ongoing support and collaboration.

There is still much ground to cover and many challenges to overcome, but with your continued support, cooperation, and prayers, we are confident that we can navigate these paths towards even greater success. Let us remain united in purpose and committed to supporting one another as we embark on this journey together.

“Bunso, Kumusta Ka! Program”

As our program continues "Bunso, Kumusta ka?". Another alumnus had been visited by our Kuya/s and Ate/s dearly beloved sibling Ruby Manlapaz 25th batch a resident of Brgy. Kinamaligan, Masbate City.

On this visit we learn that despite facing challenges but still she manages to stay strong, hopeful and resilient to step forward and be successful.

The program brings her joy, boost her confidence and feel that she is not alone striving and facing the harsh reality of life. With prayer and assistance of her Kuya/s and Ate/s everything will be ok.

As ASMSI-Masbate Chapter we will always serve the Lord with joy

“Bunso, Kumusta Ka! Program”

On January 23, 2024 our ASMSI Masbate officers launch our Program "Bunso, Kumusta ka?". And they made the first visit to our younger sister, a newly graduate Mary Joy Lagarde of Bagumbayan, Masbate City.

The goal of this program is:

* To check how their lives are after graduating from the Sisters of Mary School.
* To assist and guide the new graduates in facing the realities of life after graduating.
* To prioritize values and morality in their lives even after graduating from the Sisters of Mary School.

To make the new graduate feel that their Ate/s and Kuya/s are always there, ready to support and guide them.

Just asking a simple "Bunso, Kumusta ka?" opened up opportunities for every alumnus to come together and help each other. The aim was not only to ask about Mary Joy's well-being but also to offer a helping hand as she faces life after graduating from the Sisters of Mary School.

This visit aimed to create a sense of assurance for the new graduate, Mary Joy, that her Ate/s and Kuya/s are always there, ready to walk alongside her and provide support as she takes on the next chapter of her life.

We take a look back to one of the projects of the ASMSI-MASBATE CHAPTER which was carried out way back ago. We hope this year to continue the spirit of unity and love and share more blessings to other people for the more we share, the more the receive.

Celebrating the Feast Day of Our Lady of Banneux, the Virgin of the Poor, patroness of Sisters of Mary Schools! 🙏🏽

"As I come to relieve the suffering," said the Virgin of the Poor to Mariette Beco. Today, we see these words mirrored in the compassionate works of the Sisters of Mary. Their dedication to education, care, and love reflects the divine mission of alleviating suffering in our world. 🌍

Let us reflect on the profound connection between these words and the impactful deeds of the Sisters of Mary. Each act of kindness, every lesson taught, echoes the Virgin's call to alleviate the burdens of others. 🤝💖

In times of challenge, let us remember the Virgin of the Poor's parting words to Mariette Beco, "My dear child, pray a lot. Au revoir!" 🙏 May our prayers unite us in gratitude for the blessings received and inspire us to continue the mission of relieving suffering in the spirit of love and compassion. 🌺
