We recently had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful group of students from Bukidnon State University (BS Biology), who visited us as part of their Systematics class under Dr. Aurefeli Nietes 🌿

It was a meaningful and enriching day as the owner of our restaurant — also a passionate local scientist — guided the students through an immersive exploration of ferns found around our grounds. From edible varieties to endemic and endangered species, the session brought classroom learning to life in the most hands-on way.

Beyond the field experience, the students also enjoyed a hearty meal at our restaurant and took time to explore our in-house museum, where they discovered old paintings, stories from our family’s journey, and a glimpse into the history that shaped who we are today.

We’re truly grateful to have been part of this learning experience and love creating spaces where education, nature, and good food come together.
