Remembering Vanessa today, one year on.
Though we only met properly once, we connected through creating and sharing our love for the Philippines. I always saw her as a fellow creative and a friend. She had a beautiful spirit and a passion that touched more people than she probably realised.

Gone far too soon at 28, but her light and the memories she left behind will always remain. Thinking of you and everyone who loved her today. 🤍

Man, I looked up to this guy my whole childhood and all the way through high school. If you knew me back in my hoop days, it went Jordan, Kobe, Iverson, then Hot Sizzle 😂. Even though the meet & greet wasn’t the best (event organisers, do better), I’m still thankful I got to meet one of my idols.

Another year around the sun. Today, I can’t help but think of my friends and peers who didn’t make it this far, those who never got to see another birthday. Their absence is a constant reminder of how fragile life is, and how lucky we are to still be here.

None of the material s**t matters. You can’t take it with you. What does matter? Good people, good vibes, and doing what you love with those who get you. I’m grateful as hell for my crew—friends, family, and fellow creatives who ride with me and understand the chaos in my brain.
