Anchors of Batangas: A Day of Appreciation for ATI’s Calabarzon Trade Partners
In line with the celebration of its 40th anniversary, the Philippines’ major trade enabler Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI) recently feted its valued customers and trade partners in the Batangas Integrated Port (BIP) in a special appreciation event held at Paseo Premiere Hotel.
The gathering which hosted the major economic zone locators in Cavite, Laguna and Batangas highlighted the enduring partnership, solid trust and unwavering collaboration between ATI and its valued customers which have been instrumental in driving trade through BIP, the premier global gateway of Calabarzon.
Leading companies in the automotive, technology, manufacturing, and consumer goods space, comprising BIP’s top importers and exporters, were honored with a commemorative plaque alongside ATI’s shipping line partners who play key roles in connecting Batangas Port directly to regional and global markets at faster transit times.
The event was also attended by representatives from the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) and the Bureau of Customs (BOC), led by Batangas District Collector Mimel Talusan.
Underscoring the importance of strong industry partnerships, ATI Assistant Vice President for Commercial Reginald Rivera, said: “None of what we do would be possible without you. Each of you plays a vital role in keeping trade moving—efficiently, reliably, and with purpose. Today, we are not just looking back on our journey; we are setting our sights on greater horizons, with stronger volumes, deeper partnerships, and a shared ambition.”
Build on solid partnerships fostered through the years, ATI remains committed to enabling smarter, faster, and innovative trade in support of economies, industries, and communities.
What if a single shipment could change what’s possible for local businesses?
Che-Che’s family business started as a small stall. Today, it has grown into a thriving business serving passengers and workers moving through the Port of Batangas every day.
As the port modernises, it is helping drive trade that is projected to contribute $27.8M to the local economy, creating new opportunities for businesses and communities.
Stories like Che-Che’s show how growth at the port can open new doors for local businesses.
That’s the DP World Effect.
