EAC Cavite extends its warmest congratulations to 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗟. 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹, a proud graduate of the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟰, on her promotion as 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 of the Identification and Record Division at the National Bureau of Investigation.

During her time as a student, Ms. Portugal distinguished herself as an outstanding scholar who actively participated in both curricular and extracurricular activities. She served as the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Commander and was a recipient of a Leadership Award, reflecting her exemplary leadership, discipline, and dedication.

After graduating and successfully passing the licensure examination, she joined EACC as a staff member and later served as a faculty member, continuing her commitment to academic excellence and service.
She then joined the National Bureau of Investigation, where she has served with dedication, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to excellence—embodying the true Emilian spirit.

On 𝟐𝟒 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 (𝐍𝐂𝐑𝐑𝐂𝐃𝐆) conducted the 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭 of different ROTC Units held at the Laang Kawal Multipurpose Hall, HNCRRCDG, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, under the direct supervision of 𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐘 𝐆 𝐆𝐀 𝐌𝐍𝐒𝐀 (𝐀𝐑𝐓) 𝐏𝐀, 𝐍𝐂𝐑𝐑𝐂𝐃𝐆 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫.

‎The program commenced with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem with the use of Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP). MSg Gerry M De Mesa (AGS) PA, OIC, Office of the Group Sergeant Major, NCRRCDG, RCPA, delivered the invocation followed by the welcome remarks of COL ABRAHAM M GALLANGI JR GSC (INF) PA, Executive Officer, NCRRCDG, RCPA.

‎Following the welcome remarks, an AVP was presented showcasing the inspiring Class Synopsis of Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) MS 41/42 batch 2025, followed by the Class Impression delivered by the PLMar ROTC Unit Corps Commander and Class President, Advance ROTC S.Y 2025-2026, C/COL JERWIN C JERESANO 1CL. After, MAJ ALEXANDER M LAMBIQUIT (CE) PA, Group Operations Officer, NCRRCDG, RCPA, formally presented Advance ROTC Cadet Officers for graduation, while COL FERDINAND REY G GA MNSA (ART) PA declared the Advance ROTC Cadet Officers as graduates.
‎
‎Following the declaration of graduates, the formal Distribution of Certificates and Donning of Ranks commenced. MAJ FRANCIS M LOBATON (MI) PA, OIC Group Adjutant and S1, NCRRCDG, RCPA, officially read the promotion orders. This act formally designated the Advance ROTC Cadet Officer graduates to their newly donned ranks as Sergeants in the Reserve Force of the Philippine Army.

‎Prior to the conclusion, 𝐁𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐎 𝐒 𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐀, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝 (𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐌), 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲, served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. In his motivational address, he highlighted that a Sergeant is considered the cornerstone of leadership—reliable, courageous, just, and able to lead by example.

On 𝟏𝟕 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 The Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Unit successfully conducted the 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐑𝐀𝐀𝐓𝐈) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 under the leadership of COL GERALD L MONFORT GSC (INF) PA, RAATI Chairperson. The activity served as an important evaluation of the ROTC Unit’s operational readiness, administrative efficiency, and tactical capability, while also assessing the competence of the training staff and the continuous support of the institution toward the ROTC program.

‎The activity formally commenced with the Arrival of Honor Ceremony, followed by a courtesy call to the school administration. The program officially began with the singing of the National Anthem through an audio-visual presentation (AVP), setting a patriotic and solemn atmosphere for the inspection. This was followed by the invocation led by Ms. Elisha Keziah D. Restubog, MAEd, NSTP Coordinator, asking for guidance and success for the conduct of the activity.

‎Thereafter, MAJ JESSEL A MONTAJES (SC) PA, Assistant Commandant of EAC ROTC Unit, delivered her welcome remarks, expressing the institution’s unwavering commitment to leadership development, discipline, and service through the ROTC program.
‎
‎The introduction of the RAATI Chairperson was formally delivered by MAJ JESSEL A MONTAJES (SC) PA, Assistant Commandant of the EAC ROTC Unit. Following this, COL GERALD L MONFORT GSC (INF) PA presented the members of the RAATI Team and discussed the inspection parameters, objectives, and evaluation procedures to be conducted during the activity. He highlighted the significance of maintaining high standards in administration, tactical proficiency, and organizational effectiveness within ROTC units.
‎
‎A formal turnover of command and control of the ROTC Unit from the Commandant to the RAATI Chairperson officially marked the beginning of the inspection proper. The RAATI Team then proceeded with the unit briefing and comprehensive inspection, carefully evaluating the cadets’ military bearing, tactical preparedness, administrative organization, training implementation, and operational standards. The inspection also assessed the unit’s overall efficiency in carrying out ROTC programs and activities in accordance with established military regulations and guidelines.

‎The inspection included several tactical and academic activities facilitated by designated military personnel. General Administration inspected by CPT NOEL B UROT (OS) PA, Company Drills and Immediate Action Drill (IAD) were conducted under the supervision of Sgt Aldo Rey M Dagdag (Inf) PA. The Assemble and Disassemble of M16 Rifle and Cal .45 Pistol training was facilitated by SSg Joel B Caber (OS) PA. Map Reading exercises were supervised by SSg Noel Glenn B Alojipan PA (Res), while the Comprehensive Examination was administered by CPT LOUEN JOY I SELIDIO (AGS) PA with PFC Kathleen Joy P Sales (Inf) PA. Furthermore, the First Aid and Basic Life Support training was conducted by Cpl Jesson V Libron PA (Res) with Cpl Amy L Yunus PA (Res), providing the cadets with essential emergency response knowledge and practical skills.

‎Part of the activity included the reading of the RAATI results conducted by CPT NOEL B UROT (OS) PA as a representative for MAJ JOSIF GINO C JUBAS (INF) PA, Vice Chairperson Inspector for General Administration. The EAC ROTC Unit obtained an average score of 𝟖𝟓.𝟑𝟒%,, reflecting the cadets’ discipline, dedication, and the collective efforts of the training staff and school administration in maintaining the unit’s satisfactory performance and operational readiness.

‎The program concluded with the giving of certificates to the RAATI Team in recognition of their contribution and service during the inspection. This was followed by the formal turnover of command and control of the ROTC Unit back to the Commandant, symbolizing the completion of the inspection process. A photo opportunity and exit honors for the RAATI Team formally ended the activity, followed by the mass singing of “Pilipinas Kong Mahal,” which strengthened the spirit of patriotism and unity among all participants.

‎Through the successful conduct of RAATI, the administration of EAC reaffirmed its strong commitment to military excellence, leadership development, discipline, patriotism, and community service through its continuous support of the ROTC program.

On 𝟏𝟎 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Emilio Aguinaldo College ROTC Unit conducted its 𝟏𝟑𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 at the Emilio Aguinaldo College – Cavite Campus. The activity focused on the continued preparation for the upcoming 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐑𝐀𝐀𝐓𝐈) through intensive practical training, drills, coordination exercises, and unit rehearsals aimed at enhancing cadets’ discipline, synchronization, military bearing, and operational readiness. The activity was spearheaded by the Unit Commandant, 𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐙 𝐒𝐂 (𝐆𝐒𝐂) 𝐏𝐀, and continuously supported by the Training Staff and Cadet Officers. The Commandant’s directives and operational guidance were consistently observed throughout the conduct of the activity despite physical absence, ensuring proper implementation of all scheduled training activities.

The activity commenced at 0530H with the accounting of Basic Cadets to ensure attendance, accountability, and readiness of all personnel prior to departure. At 0700H, all cadets boarded the designated transportation and departed from EAC-Manila en route to the EAC-Cavite Campus. At approximately 0809H, the unit arrived at the EAC-Cavite Campus, and by 0815H, all cadets were formed and assembled for instructions and organization of activities. The training was supervised by the Training Staff composed of 𝐓𝐒𝐠 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨 𝐋 𝐆𝐨𝐳𝐨 (𝐒𝐂) 𝐏𝐀, 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐉𝐲𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐥 𝐈𝐚𝐧 𝐑 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐨 (𝐒𝐂) 𝐏𝐀, 𝐂𝐩𝐥 𝐊𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐕𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐫 𝐏 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧 (𝐈𝐧𝐟) 𝐏𝐀, 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐚 𝐅 𝐁𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), and 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐠 𝐈𝐚𝐧 𝐒 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), together with the Cadet Officers 𝐂/𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐁𝐘𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐋 𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝟏𝐂𝐋, 𝐂/𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐋𝐄𝐈 𝐌 𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝟏𝐂𝐋, 𝐂/𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐇𝐔𝐀 𝐂 𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐀 𝟏𝐂𝐋, 𝐂/𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐏𝐇 𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐌 𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐕𝐎 𝟐𝐂𝐋, 𝐂/𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐇 𝐅 𝐂𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐙𝐀𝐒 𝟐𝐂𝐋, 𝐂/𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐙𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐍 𝟐𝐂𝐋, and 𝐂/𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐃𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐃𝐔 𝟐𝐂𝐋. At 0850H, the cadets commenced their continued preparation for the upcoming RAATI. The training focused on unit drills, formation movements, ceremonial procedures, coordination exercises, and precision practices designed to strengthen discipline, teamwork, and military efficiency. Continuous supervision and correction were provided by the Training Staff and Cadet Officers to ensure proper ex*****on of commands and movements. At 1135H, a break was observed to allow the personnel to rest and prepare for the continuation of activities. Training resumed at 1230H, and by 1235H, the cadets continued their RAATI preparations, further emphasizing synchronization, timing, military bearing, and precision in unit ex*****on. At 1650H, a final break was observed prior to the conclusion of the day’s activities. The RAATI practice officially concluded at 1740H following final instructions, assessment, and consolidation of personnel. At approximately 1802H, the designated transportation departed from EAC-Cavite en route back to EAC-Manila. The unit safely arrived in Manila at approximately 1945H, after which the cadets were properly dismissed.

The 13th and 14th Training Day activities were successfully conducted in an organized and systematic manner, significantly contributing to the continued preparedness of the Emilio Aguinaldo College ROTC Unit for the upcoming RAATI. No untoward incidents were reported throughout the entire duration of the training.
