IC design group seeks seat in advisory body A newly launched organization, which aims to position the Philippines as a hub for integrated circuit design and services, is seeking representation in the government’s advisory body for the semiconductor and electronics industry as well as funding for research and development.

The 𝐀𝐐&𝐏𝐂 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is a key event for sharing best practices in quality and productivity among SEIPI member companies. It recognizes continuous improvement initiatives and fosters collaboration, helping semiconductor and electronics companies exchange insights and enhance their efforts.

The Benchmarking Convention features categories focused on 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (shop floor projects) and 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (support functions like HR, IT, and Planning). These are further divided into 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝟏 (non-engineering or non-supervisory teams) and 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝟐 (engineering or supervisory-led teams).

𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰. Out of 𝟓𝟎 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 from 𝟏𝟒 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬, the screening panel has 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝟏𝟖 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 representing 𝟏𝟎 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬. These outstanding teams will compete live at the convention, showcasing their best practices and innovations in quality and productivity.
