From November 12-14, 2025, Mu Relief conducted relief operations for communities affected by Super Typhoon Uwan, which brought intense rainfall and widespread flooding across several parts of Luzon. The typhoon left many areas facing displacement, disrupted livelihoods, and limited access to basic necessities, calling for an urgent humanitarian response.
In solidarity with the affected areas, Mu Relief mobilized assistance through the invaluable support of our partner organizations: Tabang Catanduanes in Catanduanes, Akbayanihan in Camarines Sur, Tulong Kabataan in Metro Manila, Angat Buhay in Aurora, and Bangon Taou in Tauo, Cagayan. This collective effort enabled us to reach multiple communities across regions and deliver timely support where it was most needed.
Through this coordinated response, 400 hygiene kits and 400 food packs were distributed to affected communities, helping address immediate needs for food, sanitation, and daily essentials. These efforts went beyond material aid, they were a tangible expression of compassion and bayanihan, supporting communities as they work toward recovery and stability.
This relief initiative was made possible through the generous support of our partners and donors, particularly our Brods and Sisses, the Mu Sigma Phi Foundation and MSPF Batch 1983, whose trust and commitment strengthened every step of this response. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our volunteers, whose dedication, from careful repacking to timely delivery, ensured that assistance was carried out with care and efficiency. We are likewise grateful to the UP Manila Museum of a History of Ideas for graciously opening its doors as our repacking venue, providing a space that enabled this operation to run smoothly and with purpose.
As we remain committed to being ready and responsive to future emergencies, we continue to accept donations to strengthen our relief efforts and preparedness for communities that may need assistance in the days ahead. Monetary contributions are highly encouraged, as every amount helps us extend timely and meaningful support when it matters most.

In partnership with Saint Bernard Bayanihan, Mu Relief successfully distributed food packs and hygiene kits to 74 families whose homes were damaged by Typhoon Tino in the barangays of Catmon, Cabagawan, and Atuyan in Southern Leyte on November 15, 2025. The remaining food packs and hygiene kits for 26 families were allocated to nearby affected communities. Through this collaborative effort and your generous support, we were able to reach the hardest-hit households and provide immediate support.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Saint Bernard Bayanihan for welcoming us, coordinating on the ground, and ensuring that the relief goods were delivered to the communities that needed them most. Their dedication to service continues to help us carry out our relief efforts.
We would also like to express our gratitude to our Brods and Sisses, and to the Mu Sigma Phi Foundation, for their generous donations and unwavering support. Your contributions made this relief operation possible.
As we remain committed to being ready and responsive to future emergencies, we continue to accept donations to strengthen our relief efforts and preparedness for communities that may need assistance in the days ahead. Typhoon Opong swept through the Bicol Region in October 2025, bringing intense rains, strong winds, and widespread flooding. Countless families were left displaced, with damaged homes, disrupted livelihoods, and limited access to basic necessities, including safe drinking water.
