Halos bumigay na ang gobyerno sa bigat ng mga dinastiyang kasalukuyang nakaupo. 8 sa bawat 10 kongresista ang mula sa dynasty. Mabibilang na rin ang mga mayor, governor, at senador na hindi galing sa angkan ng mga politiko.

Mismong ang mga may pasimuno ng HB 8389 na siyang magbabawal kuno sa political dynasty ay mga tagapagmana ng dinastikong kapangyarihan: sina Faustino "Bojie" Dy III at anak ng presidente mismong si Sandro Marcos.

Sa probisyon ng panukalang ito, taliwas sa kanyang branding, hahayaan lamang nitong mamayagpag ang mga fat at obese dynasties na magkakasabay na uupo at tatakbo sa eleksyon na magpapalitan ng pwesto o magririgodon sa mga distrito at probinsya para manatili sa kapangyarihan.

Karapat-dapat tutulan ng mga mamamayan, manggagawa, ang kabataan, ang nag-aastang anti-political dynasty bill na ito, na sa katotohan ay nagsisilbi lamang sa interes ng mga kurakot at dinastiyang kasalukuyang nakaupo.

Panahon nang isakatuparan ang matagal nang ipinaglalaban ng masa: buwagin at durugin ang mga political dynasty, at itayo ang gobyerno ng manggagawa't masa!

Sa darating na Mayo Uno, mangangalsada ang hanay ng manggagawa upang igiit na ang tanging sagot sa krisis sa ekonomiya at paggogobyerno ay ang pagpupundar ng lipunang sosyalista - ating gobyerno, ating ekonomiya!

Hamon sa kabataan na makiisa at umanib sa independienteng kilusan ng manggagawa tungo sa ganap sa pagsasakatuparan ng lipunang walang pagsasamantala, kahirapan, at 'di pagkakapantay-pantay.

The effects of the worsening unjust wars driven by Trump and Netanyahu are being felt in full force beyond West Asia. Week after week, fuel costs continue to rise, and most likely the prices of basic necessities such as food, electricity, and water will follow suit. Demands for the removal of excise tax and VAT, the abolition of the Oil Deregulation Law, and the taxation of the rich continue to fall on deaf ears, proving that the Marcos administration has no real interest in addressing the immediate needs of the people.

Amid this deepening systemic crisis, it is important to critically discuss the root of the problem in order to sharpen our understanding and realize how we, the youth, can contribute to the struggle of the working class for a society free from poverty and exploitation.

As fighting in the Gulf disrupts energy flows and drives fresh fears over oil supply, the effects are already being felt far beyond the region.

For countries like ours, this means yet another crisis passed onto the backs of workers, commuters, students, and disadvantaged families through higher fuel costs, transport strain, and greater economic insecurity. The same system that funds war abroad and protects the wealth of the powerful condemns the people here to hardship, inflation, and precarity. Our struggle must continue against imperialist war, elite rule, and the local conditions that make ordinary people pay for crises they did not create.
