We thank the LORD for our last clinic days for 2025... for the simple staff and volunteers Christmas party... and for the wonderful community gift giving that was held at SBCC.

We celebrate JESUS.

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace". | Isaiah 9:6

Sagip clinic will be taking an extended break for the staff and volunteers to recharge but we are all excited for what the LORD will do in 2026. Merry Christmas to all!

We give glory to the Lord for another busy and heart-warming week in Sagip!

From preparing patients for our next pulmonology clinic... to welcoming back our ophthalmology (retina specialist) consultant from his one-year fellowship training... to meeting our new volunteer dentist... to our weekly Mother and Baby Clinic (MAB)... to our regular geriatrics and family medicine clinics... and finally, to our regular counseling and spiritual support services (and preparing a street shelter for one of our patients)... the Lord is using the clinic to bring healing to the whole person.

Today was a very special day in Sagip! The clinic was so busy but the joy of the LORD was with us!

We welcomed two new volunteer doctors - Dr. Joel Penn and Dr. Nellie Carag! May the LORD bless your hearts.

And we also welcomed the first babies (newborns) from our Mother and Baby Clinic (formerly Child Survival Program). The babies brought us so much joy!

Yes. Today was special. We had wonderful moments with our patients. All by His grace!

We praise the LORD for the numerous and invaluable in-kind donations that Sagip has received all these years! From medicines, to food, to clothing, toys, IT gadgets, eyewear frames, and other medical supplies - we always do our best to put these into good use for the communities we serve.

Recently, we received an assortment of medicines for our Cardiology patients; a peak flow meter and several expensive inhaled medications for asthma and COPD patients that helped jumpstart our new Pulmo Clinic; CGM readers for our diabetes patients; and various Rehabilitation Therapy and ENT units and medicines.

These in-kind donations are important to our mission. And we praise the LORD for providing us with these resources through generous people like you!

But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.’ | Jeremiah 30:17

Praying for the healing of our neighbors, especially the stray and the rejected. Not just the wounds of the body or of the heart, but more so, of the spirit. Yes, the LORD can bind up ALL our wounds. He can restore us from ALL our diseases.

We praise God for the recent visit of Abbott Freestyle Libre Asia, and for helping us access marked-down Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM) for our diabetes patients! We were encouraged to hear from them on how they see our love for our community and patients - quality health care that disregards socioeconomic barriers. Only through Jesus.

Capping off the Gospel Month (of September) with two Afternoons of Music! Despite changes in schedule due to weather, we are blessed to hear the Gospel proclaimed through songs and music. What a treat to worship with Abby Tan, hear beautiful melodies from the talented singer-songwriter Jason Marvin, and witness the spine-tingling worship song renditions from His Sounds🎶

Ephesians 5:19 | ...speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord...!

What a super busy month August had been! We praise the LORD for the many lives that were healed (not just physically but also emotionally and spiritually) through the power of prayer! We thank Him for our health providers and advocates, their services, and the medicines they gave for free. As we look out into our neigborhood and community, even though the world in general is anxiety-inducing, pray for eyes to see the work the LORD has prepared for us. Gearing up for a new month with renewed strength to bring the Good News of Christ into all the world!
