Coaches and supporters believe the young athlete has a bright future ahead, especially as he prepares to join Ateneo’s secondary basketball program.

According to his coach, one of the key reasons Rene chose Ateneo was because of the scholarship opportunity that also included support for his younger sibling, showing how deeply he valued his family’s future. “Ipagpatuloy mo ang mga nasimulan ni Kuya Rene mo para sa inyong pamilya,” the message of encouragement read.

His coach also recalled that Rene always put his family first, a trait that defined both his decisions and his character as a young athlete.
