Ayon sa COMELEC, ang Filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) ay nakatakda mula September 28 hanggang October 5, 2026.

Turkish Cat Looks Deeply Offended After Tourists Refuse to Share Their Food

A Turkish street cat has captured the internet's attention after tourists apparently broke one of the country's unofficial rules: always pay the "cat tax." Filmed at an outdoor cafe, the white cat sits beside a table while tourists enjoy cake with coffee. It waits patiently for a share, staring intently at their meal as though expecting its own portion.

When no food arrives, the white cat changes posture before giving the diners a dramatically offended, visibly frustrated stare. The deeply judgmental expression became the highlight of the video. Fans jokingly called the tourists very rude, reminding them about Turkey's cat tax, an unwritten expectation that outdoor diners spare a small bite for the local feline population.

The joke reflects Turkey's famous affection or cats. Residents regularly provide food or shelters, while businesses may offer cushions or premium kibble. Such widespread kindness has made many felines confident around humans. Instead of running away, they approach restaurants expecting hospitality, behaving more like the establishment's true owners.

A bizarre viral story claims that a Florida woman kidnapped a scientist because she wanted to make her beloved cat immortal. However, I could not find credible evidence that this kidnapping actually happened. The claim appears to be a modern variation of an older internet hoax involving a supposed Florida man who allegedly abducted a scientist to make his dog immortal; fact-checkers previously found no evidence that the alleged crime occurred.

The newer “Florida woman” version has been circulating across social media, but the available posts do not provide a verifiable police report, court record, or reputable news account establishing that a scientist was actually kidnapped for this reason. It is therefore safer to present the headline as an unverified viral claim, rather than a confirmed crime.
