In particular, the CBMCBRCO was set up to coordinate training exchanges and maximize resource sharing and information exchange within CBM’s Philippine CBR partner agencies; extend the scope of the work beyond the CBM partners to include other agencies and bodies who are active in this field of work, and which either have a contributory role or can benefit from advice, training and information; develop and document a generally applicable system of CBR evaluation, including systems for measurement of quality-of-life changes; contribute to and advocate for the development and implementation of a national policy on CBR as the main vehicle for providing services to persons with disabilities; help empower disabled peoples’ organizations and parents’ groups in furtherance of the development and extension of comprehensive CBR; identify training needs of partner organizations and develop necessary training curricula in cooperation with the CBM partners and adviser; and facilitate and promote inclusive practices by other community agencies, in particular local government units. The CBR Coordination Office continued to contribute to the development of CBR in the Philippines on behalf of CBM until 2013. In November 2013, the CBM CBR CO was officially granted its registration paper by the Philippines Securities Exchange Commission as a non-stock, non-profit organization. The CBM CBR CO is now called as the Philippine Coordinating Center for Inclusive Development, Inc. The PCCID is guided by the vision of "Better Communities for Everyone!" It's mission is to "Build Capacities of People for Inclusion." The PCCID will work towards 3 goals: (1) Goal 1: Enhance leadership practices of persons with disability and parents leaders in grassroots communities and organizations, and (2) Promote inclusive governance, and (3) build up and strength the sustainability of the oganization.
