Mga kababayan, maging mapanuri sa mga indibidwal na nag-aalok ng trabaho o nanghihikayat sa kapwa OFW na lumipat ng employer o bansa, lalo na kung sila ay hindi lisensyadong recruiter o walang kaukulang awtoridad mula sa Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) at sa mga kinauukulang awtoridad sa bansang kanilang pinagtatrabahuhan.

May mga natatanggap na ulat ang Migrant Workers Office (MWO) Prague tungkol sa mga OFWs na nanghihikayat, nagre-recruit, o nagpo-"poach" ng kapwa OFW kapalit ng iba't ibang bayarin gaya ng visa appointment fee, processing fee, reservation fee, at iba pa.

⚠️ 𝐏𝐀𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐋𝐀:
❌ Huwag makipagtransaksyon sa sinumang walang lisensya o awtoridad mula sa DMW at walang legal na pahintulot mula sa mga kinauukulang awtoridad sa bansang kanilang pinagtatrabahuhan upang mag-recruit ng mga OFW.
❌ Huwag magbayad ng "visa appointment fee," "processing fee," "reservation fee," o anumang bayarin sa personal na account ng isang indibidwal.
❌ Mag-ingat sa mga nanghihikayat sa inyo na lumipat ng employer o bansa sa pamamagitan ng third-country o cross-country hiring scheme. Ang ganitong uri ng recruitment ay labag sa batas ng DMW at maaaring magdulot ng problema sa inyong immigration status, trabaho, at kaligtasan.

✅ Siguraduhin na ang recruitment agency ay may valid license mula sa DMW at accredited ang employer na pupuntahan.

The Recruitment Industry Crisis Coordination Council (RICCC) has launched a new crisis monitoring platform to help strengthen the protection and welfare of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), especially those in the Middle East amid ongoing regional tensions.

RICCC brings together major Philippine recruitment industry organizations, including APLAJAP, APOL, CLADS, OPAP, PASEI, PEACEME, PRAASA, and PRIME. These groups formed the council to improve industry coordination, crisis preparedness, and faster response for Filipino workers abroad during emergencies, disasters, or geopolitical conflicts.

To support this effort, RICCC partnered with CrisisOps to launch the SAFE Platform, a digital system that allows OFWs to check in and report their safety status. The platform provides recruitment agencies with real-time visibility of worker welfare, helping them quickly identify workers who may need assistance and coordinate support when crises occur.

Through this initiative, the recruitment industry aims to strengthen its ability to monitor, coordinate, and respond to situations that may affect the safety of Filipino workers overseas.
