🪧 𝗪 𝗘 𝗔 𝗟 𝗧 𝗛 𝗢 𝗙 𝗚 𝗟 𝗢 𝗥 𝗬 🪧

The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life. - Proverbs 22:4 ESV

You don't build a life from the top down. You build it from the heart out.

Humility = view of oneself = teachable / submissive

Fear of the Lord = view of God = moral awe

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟.

𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝.

Riches = peace, contentment, spiritual riches, sustenance, sufficiency

True wealth is having what money can’t buy (peace) and what death can’t take away (legacy).

Honor = respect for a person of integrity

True honor is not fame. It is the weight of your word and the respect of your peers because you are the same person in the dark as you are in the light.

Life = full, eternal, sense of purpose

This is the vitality that comes from being aligned with your Creator. It is living wide awake.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬.

𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤.

𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫.

𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗬 𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗬❓

You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. - Luke 12:40 NLT

Jesus is not just giving a suggestion. He is giving a command for our survival and our salvation.

⚠️​ALSO = Another Warning / Reminder
This word reminds us that we are not the first to hear this. It is a recurring reminder throughout Scripture. If God says it once, it is important. If it is highlighted, it is a critical warning we cannot afford to ignore.

🛑​MUST = No Excuses
Jesus does not say "try to be" or "if you have time." He says must. There are no excuses for spiritual slumber. We can’t blame our busyness, our stress, or our surroundings for a heart that has grown cold.

🛡️​BE READY = Daily Discipline
Readiness is not an emotion. It is a discipline. It’s the daily habit of opening the Word, staying in prayer, and keeping our hearts aligned with His. It’s a decision made every morning before the world starts screaming for our attention.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞.

​✝️ALL THE TIME = No Time for Distractions
Faithfulness is not a part-time job. If we are only ready on Sundays, we are actually unfaithful. Because we don't know the hour, there is no safe time to be distracted by sin or worldliness.
​𝐀𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡.

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

To be on guard against a thief and to be ready for Jesus' return, we should live in constant readiness.
𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐲. 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲.
When you stay ready, the return of the Son of Man is not a moment of terror. It is the moment you’ve been waiting for.

Following Jesus is the ONLY way we could find authentic life; a TRULY purposeful life.

Satan showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world in a moment. ​He offered Him all the authority and glory. The condition? Just worship him. But Jesus answered:
“It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and HIM ONLY shall you serve.’”

𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨

𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
​It means putting God’s will...
ABOVE your personal comfort,
ABOVE your ambitions,
and ABOVE your physical security.

𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟,
𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭.

Self-interest < Eternal Communion with God.

So, shall we trade our soul?

Most of us spend our lives trying to get out of wilderness seasons. We view the desert as a place of punishment or a sign that we’ve taken a wrong turn.
𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 - 𝘢 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱, 𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯, 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘳𝘺𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦'𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘥
The wilderness is often exactly where God chooses to speak.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮; 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮.
The Word came to John in the wilderness, not to the world powers.
Get a word from the Word.

[3] Then John went from place to place on both sides of the Jordan River, preaching that people should be baptized to show that they had repented of their sins and turned to God to be forgiven. [4] Isaiah had spoken of John when he said, “He is a voice shouting in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord’s coming! Clear the road for him! [5] The valleys will be filled, and the mountains and hills made level. The curves will be straightened, and the rough places made smooth. [6] And then all people will see the salvation sent from God.

How do we prepare?
The preparation starts with REPENTANCE!
1 John 1:9 NLT
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭!
John 15:4 NLT
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.

Turning away from sin isn't just about leaving something behind; it is about staying settled in the presence of God.
It is not about stopping doing the bad things. It's about staying; a daily decision to remain in Christ Jesus.

When we wander, we lose our alignment.
When we repent, we reconnect to the Vine.

Luke 3:16 NLT
[16] John answered their questions by saying, “I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am—so much greater that I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

We need the Holy Spirit to sustain what God has started in us.

​Why is it so easy to remember our worries but so hard to remember our wonders?

​We all struggle with spiritual amnesia.
Sometimes, we let struggles often silence God's constant grace in our life.

It says "does", pertaining to the present.
It's a daily reminder to never forget the good in every bad. There is....even if you don't see or feel it.

Stability of our spiritual life = consistently anchored in Jesus Christ = Unshakable Faith

🪻​𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝.
​Think of it like a graft: the more time the branch spends joined to the Vine, the more their tissues merge.

​Our heart begins to beat with His.
​Our perspective starts to match His.

🪻𝐁𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰.
​Our job is simply to stay where we should be. God’s job is to provide the stability that keeps us upright when the world shakes.

​🪻𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬.
​Real transformation doesn't happen in a blink of an eye; it happens in the steadiness of the seasons.

​There is a season for roots (unseen growth).
​There is a season for shoots (visible progress).
​There is a season for fruit (outward blessing).

No root? Don't disconnect! Nasa root season pa tayo. Just trust the process. The growth is happening because the connection is steady.

​🪻𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐝.
Fruitfulness is a promise.
When we prioritize our relationship with Jesus above everything, the growth happens automatically.
Don't worry about the HOW; just focus on the WHO.

🪻𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐇𝐞'𝐥𝐥 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞.

Stop working on the fruit and start looking on the root. Focus on our connection.
