Tethered Drone solution . when you need to erect a tall tower without the tower part.

A tethered drone is referred to as the "tall tower scenario" because it acts as an instantly deployable, elevated mast that can reach altitudes where traditional physical towers are impractical or impossible to build.
The phrase comes from the telecommunications, military, and emergency-response fields, where these drones function as "variable height antennas" to solve several logistical and geographical challenges. The concept is described as a "tower" for several key reasons:
• Instantaneous Elevation: A tethered drone can rapidly ascend up to 100 to 300 feet, projecting antennas or cameras high enough to bypass trees, urban buildings, and geographical blockages.

• Continuous Power and Data: Because the drone is connected to a ground power source via a physical cable, it does not suffer from the 20-to-30-minute battery limits of standard UAVs. It can stay airborne for hours or days, simulating a permanent infrastructure.

• Disaster and Temporary Coverage: In emergency scenarios—such as after a hurricane or wildfire—when terrestrial cell towers are destroyed or blocked by terrain, tethered drones are deployed as "cell towers on drones" to immediately re-establish network coverage.

• Mobile and Remote Deployments: Building a permanent 100 to 300-foot communication mast in a remote, rugged area is incredibly expensive and difficult. A tethered drone provides the same line-of-sight advantages but with the flexibility of being packed into a truck and driven anywhere.
