Taking a closer look at the Canatillo, a heritage Vigan pastry. Swipe to see the traditional tools used to make this delicacy: the “bikal” bamboo cylinders are used for that perfect shape and the “pang kuddot” for those intricate hand-pinched details. The fried pastry tubes are then filled with sweetened tangkoy (wintermelon). Thank you, Tita Juvy for taking time to show me this.
