Loss, disappointment.. looking back on them before we end this year would make us feel every bite of pain over again.

Then tears and heartbreaks that took away our smiles for a time. Memory sometimes is not a friend, it pulls us down from our happiness with just one scene replayed in our mind.

And then we remember how those things were in our past. Still parts of us but we OVERCOME. We may not won in every battle we faced this year but what matters is to WHOM we ran to with each defeat.

I pray that we put our trust to our LORD who would still go with us in each joy and pain that we have to walk through in the coming new year. A bright hope for tomorrow! ❤️‍🩹

The assurance I keep on repeating to myself.
When things and events started to pull you downward and seems like a vision darkened, I shall tell again and again.. God is in control.
Trust the process, His will, His way.❤️‍🩹

To view this "land that stretches afar" is to be lifted above the circumstances of the immediate present and to gain an eternal perspective. During difficult times, the Lord enables us to see our lives from His viewpoint and regain hope.
Each day, we can choose to look down in discouragement or lift our eyes to the "land that stretches afar" to the Lord, who is "our Mighty One."

This Chooseday, l prayed that we'll choose to fix our eyes on Jesus instead on the circumstances that discourage us to see Him in His splendor and find peace.

May nakita akong post na ang sabi "kaya kita 2024" at napaisip ako, "ako kaya"? Kumakapit pa rin hanggang sa matapos muli ang taon, 2 buwan pa ang itatawid para sa mga pagsubok na hinaharap at haharapin. Ngunit nanalig na sa gitna ng alalahanin at mga pagdududa, itatawid ako ni Lord.
