He continued to enhance his skills and knowledge by taking a general managers' course at the renowned university, Cornell University. He managed 6 star hotels such as the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong as a start up. After conquering a lot of challenges and hardships, he is now the honorable lead founder and president of Horrigan Hospitality, current Vice President of the Hotel Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP), current Vice President of Hotel Restaurant Cafe of the Philippines and General Manager of Acacia Hotel.

By his outstanding contribution to the hotel and restaurant industry, he was awarded as "17th Mabuhay Gold" and hailed as one of the "Hospitality Superstars" of the Philippines.

Ms. Ma. Christina is the Chair of the Tourism Industry Board Foundation Inc, (TIBFI), an Associate Board Member of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP). Ms Aquino is also a member of CHED Technical Committee of Tourism and Hospitality and a member of the NCR Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT); a resource person for TESDA specifically in the Tourism sector; an ASEAN Master Tourism Assessor for Housekeeping and a DTI Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Assessor. She pursued local and international networking opportunities with
academic institutions, government and industry partners in the areas of collaborations in student & faculty, research and extension programs.

Ms. Sheila studied Hotel and Restaurant Management at De La Salle University in Dasmarinas throughout her college years. She began her career in the hotel industry at the age of 21, and her career in the industry has continued since she graduated. She was also a member of the IHG group of hotels, Reservation Team, and for the longest time of achieving her life goals, Ms. Sheila Marie R. Lumandog is now a Hotel Manager at Hop Inn Hotel in Ortigas Center.
