Gunting at Suklay✂️🪮

Laying the groundwork for partnership💚

We had a meaningful meeting with Mrs. Jane Rose Azanza, Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Development Services (OSAD) of Catanduanes State University, to discuss a potential collaboration under the EDUKAIN Program.

The meeting focused on strengthening student welfare through community partnership, including nutrition support initiatives where Juana Rise women will prepare soya-based meals for students.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Office of Student Affairs and Development Services of CatSU for the meaningful discussion and shared commitment to the welfare of students.🤝

Meet Felicidad ‘Lola Piling’ Agunday of Gogon, Virac,105 years strong, carrying a presence that speaks of courage and a lifetime of resilience. Today, we met her, and providing a wheelchair felt like restoring dignity, mobility, and the comfort she truly deserves.

Grateful to LGU Virac led by Mayor Sinforoso Sarmiento for partnering with us in ensuring our elders continue to be seen, valued, and supported.

Because when we uplift one life, we strengthen the heart of the whole community.❤️

Empowerment becomes real when communities build for themselves. 🌍

Through Project Kubita, nineteen (19) Masonry trainees worked hand in hand to construct 5 new comfort rooms in San Vicente, Virac, turning skills training into meaningful service for their own community.

Our heartfelt thanks to LGU Virac, GIBAC Foundation Inc. Training Center, Provincial Government of Catanduanes and the Office of the Congressional District of Catanduanes for making this collaboration possible.

What began as skills training became a story of unity, neighbors helping neighbors, and a community rising together with dignity and purpose.❤️

In every community, there are stories of quiet strength and stories that deserve to move forward.
Yesterday, two of those stories found new momentum.

Francisco V. Tabirara, 54, of Brgy. San Juan, has faced mobility challenges that made even the simplest daily tasks difficult.

Lourdes Tugano Quintanilla, 86, from West Garden Subd. Phase 3 in Bigaa, carries decades of wisdom but has struggled physically in recent years.

Through the partnership of LGU-Virac and GIBAC Foundation, both were given wheelchairs, simple tools that unlock freedom, restore dignity, and reaffirm that they are seen, valued, and supported by their community.

Big thanks to LGU - Virac headed by Mayor Sinforoso Sarmiento for this meaningful partnership.Together, we keep moving lives forward, one meaningful story at a time.
