Acts 13:1-3

People from all nations and generations will proclaim God’s righteousness and Christ’s finished work.

PSALM 22:1,27,30-31
1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?
27 All the ends of the earth shall remember
and turn to the Lord,
and all the families of the nations
shall worship before you.
30 Posterity shall serve him;
it shall be told of the Lord to the coming generation;
31 they shall come and proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn,
that he has done it.

Genesis 12:1-3
1 Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you.
2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

God's covenant to Abraham reveals His unchanging purpose-to bring redemption and blessing to all nations through Christ.

“We were created to take part in God’s creative and redemptive mission, . . . to multiply what brings him glory.”

Genesis 1:26-28
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

But the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s glory
like the water covers the sea. Habakkuk 2:14
