Gender Forward Project

Gender Forward aims to strengthen government's commitment to gender equality through gender-responsive budgeting and civic engagement.

To promote good governance and civic engagement in the ASEAN Region, our team takes part in the promotion of gender-responsive budgeting and increasing public discourse on gender issues. We are composed of six youth advocates from Malaysia and the Philippines formed through the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Regional Workshop. This project is supported by the U.S. Embassy Kuala Lumpur and TechSoup Asia-Pacific.
