Simple lang.
No fancy gym. No excuses.

This is my push day at homechest, shoulders, triceps.

I remember the first time I walked into a place like this.

SM Appliance.

Hindi ako bibili.
Titingin lang.

Pero habang nandun ako…
nagko-compute ako sa isip ko.

Ref.
Washing machine.
Mga basic na gamit.

Then I compared it to my salary.

And it felt too big.
Too far.
Parang hindi para sakin.

Hindi naman ako pinahiya ng kahit sino…

pero internally,
I felt small.

That was my reality.

But looking back…
that moment mattered.

Kasi minsan,
kailangan mo lang puntahan yung “promised land” mo.

Not to buy.
Not to impress.

But just to see it.

To feel it.

To stand there and realize…

“Baka pwede.”
“Baka kaya.”

Hindi pa siya sayo ngayon.

Pero that picture…
that feeling…

minsan yun lang kailangan mo
para huminga ulit at lumaban.

Fast forward to today

Same place.
Same items.

Pero this time,
hindi na ako nakatingin lang.

Inuuwi ko na.

And I realized…

Hindi pala imposible.

Kailangan mo lang maniwala
na pwede kang makarating.

“You asked for her hand…”

Kaya mo nga hiningi yung kamay niya.

So carry the responsibility.

In today’s world, mahirap na isa lang ang nagwo-work.

Totoo yan.

But that doesn’t lower the standard.

Work was never meant to be easy.

In a way… it’s part of the burden we carry.

Not as punishment
but as responsibility.

So do whatever you can.
With whatever you have.

Raise your standard.

Be disciplined.
Stay hungry.

Not to prove something
but to build a life where your wife is free.

And if she still chooses to work?

Then it’s not survival.

It’s purpose.

I’ve heard the story of Christ my whole life.

The cross.
The suffering.
Calvary.

Alam ko na siya.

But watching this even if it’s just a reenactment
hits different.

Parang biglang nagiging real.

The weight.
The pain.
The silence.

And it made me think…

Maybe we’ve heard it so many times
that we stopped feeling it.

Hindi na siya shocking.
Hindi na siya heavy.

Just another story we grew up with.

But it wasn’t just a story.

Someone actually walked that road.
Someone actually carried that cross.
For us.

And maybe today,
we don’t need a new message—

we just need to feel it again.

Akala mo ba success is outsourcing everything?

Some people think retirement means doing nothing.

No work. No responsibilities. Just rest.

But the more I grow, the more I realize…
that’s not it.

Real retirement is having the freedom
to slow down and take care of what you already have.

Even something as simple as washing your own car.

Hindi dahil wala kang choice but because you finally have the time.

Time is the real upgrade.

And maybe…
that’s the kind of life we’re actually chasing.

Everything under the sun repeats.

New trends. New goals. Same emptiness.

So the real question is
what actually breaks the cycle?

Ano na yung salita/pangako na sinabi na ni Lord na kailangan mo lang panghawakan?

Hindi lahat ng nangyayari… maiintindihan mo agad.

You won’t always understand what’s happening.

But that doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

Sometimes, the very thing you want removed…
is the thing He’s using.

Hindi lahat ng sumusunod kay Jesus…
handang mag-let go.

The rich young ruler didn’t reject Jesus
he just couldn’t let go of what he loved more.

And sometimes…
that’s exactly where we are.

Not far from God…
but still holding on.
