The Graduate School’s outreach program at Claro M. Recto was a meaningful day of learning and service! 💚 The COMPASS-NHM chapter joined the event, featuring an inspiring talk by Mrs. Lindsay Alvarez and a cooking demonstration that highlighted simple, budget-friendly, and healthy meal ideas for families. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our volunteers also shared freshly prepared nutritious meals for the audience, promoting wellness and healthy eating for all. 🌾🍽️

The COMPASS SNHM Officers, together with their dedicated adviser Mrs. Lindsay Jayme Alvarez, led an engaging and meaningful celebration of the 𝟱𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 with the theme:
“𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆! 𝗦𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻!”

📣 Highlights included:

✅ An impactful talk by Mrs. Alvarez on the current nutrition challenges faced by mang Filipino families — such as food insecurity, poverty, poor dietary habits, and unequal access to healthful options
✅ Fun and educational games conducted by the COMPASS NHM Officers that tested students’ nutritional knowledge
✅ Exciting prices for each game related to nutrition among Claro M. Recto students
