here’s what you need to know ⇊

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐥 (Access to Resources for Alternative Learning) by Save the Children Philippines
• will be implemented in Caloocan, Navotas, and Malabon where children don’t have access to resources to the new learning methods like online platforms, tv, and phones.

• will be providing families and children with digital and paper-based learning materials, to complement DepEd’s online learning program (𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀) since it only covers 48% of public schools with internet connection.

• lessons will be delivered via digital platforms and respective learning materials will be distributed.

• for ages 3-5, literacy and numeracy teaching materials will be given and used for 12 weeks with daily activities.
• for ages 6-9, reading camp modules worth 21 sessions will be given.
• for ages 10-12, digital children’s circles will be developed.

fun fact: rommy revson created the scrunchy because she didn’t like the usual metal and plastic hair ties of her time. she realized how comfortable the elastic of her pajamas were, sewed some fabric around it, and came the birth of the iconic scrunchy!
