Our dad had a mild stroke.
Halos kakagaling lang niya namalengke nung umaga. Nung hapon, medyo hilo na tapos di na halos makalakad. Siyempre sinugod na namin sya sa hospital. Naging ok naman after.
Pero after a few days, ganon nanaman hilo nanaman daw sya. So nag decide na yung doctor na ipa admit sya for further observation. Dun na namin nalaman na nagka mild stroke na pala sya and affected yung balance nya. Bumaba din sodium and potassium nya. Si daddy maliksi, masigla. Kaya nakaka panibago na nakikita syang parang nag dedeteriorate before your eyes. Grabe!
To cut the long story short.
Don't get me wrong. We are more than willing to spend every centavo we have para lang sa kanya, sa magulang namin.
So bat ko sinasabi toh? Well, si Daddy OFW for 27years sa KSA. At gusto lang nya is a noble life.
Nung time na well established na kami ng mga kapatid ko. Unfortunately, hindi na sya insurable. In short, wala syang Health Insurance man lang.
Pero "What If", he took the time na to be Financially Literate?
Please give yourself a gift. GET AN INSURANCE POLICY. Life or Health man yan.
Worth it parin na kumuha ka ng sarili mong policy that covers you when you need to.
You may check it here
https://www.axa.com.ph/health-protection/global-health-access
"Health is really your wealth".
Act now, explore your options to get a Health Policy.

10 of 10: YOU expect your kids to support you in your Old Age
βThe Sandwich Generationβ, when YOU are as the term sandwich in between supporting your family i.e. parents, siblings. At the same time, providing for your OWN family i.e. spouse and children. Does this ring a bell?
Many Filipinos are caught in this situation. Some even their parents have experienced the same thing until it becomes a norm or a way of life for some.
If you are in this situation. Would you like your children to experience the same?

9 of 10: YOU have a Money Tree

8 of 10: When Breaking the Bank is the Only solution YOU want when the need arises

7 of 10: You have a contact list of people that will give you money when you need it
If you are 100% CONFIDENT that people will help you in an instant when you need it. Then, why bother preparing for lifeβs uncertainties.
Thereβs nothing wrong with asking for help when you need it. But, if you had the chance, the opportunity to prepare or even prevent things from happening.
Have you done your due diligence? When you have the βmeansβ, what steps have you taken to be ready for these uncertainties?
Do you deserve the help that you desire?

5 of 10: YOU have so much money to last you for 25 Years or more when you Retire.
Once you Retire, you wonβt have any more income.
The retirement age is 60 to 65 years old, and the average life expectancy for Filipinos is 80 years old. Therefore, you need to have enough savings to last you for 25 years! That is for your expenses only.
How about some leisurely trips or splurges? Letβs say, you have been working since you are 21 years old. Thatβs around 44 years of you working hard.
Donβt you think you deserve some reward for yourself?
