We've come home from our first workshop, with the brilliant, brave, and caring youth of Lumad and church communities in Mindanao! We were also privileged to be joined by their elders, who were inspiring in their ways of keeping the community together amid challenges.

Thank you so much to the Mindanao Climate Jusice team for inviting us!

For our Tree of Care exercise, we thought it was beautiful to hear the youth talk about their hopes and dreams and the support they need, but equally powerful to witness the adults be open about their struggles while committing to creating strong and nurturing communities. Because it's true: life is hard, but burdens become lighter when shared and when we look towards goals that are bigger than ourselves.

We've developed a mentorship programme to help the youth build caring communities, and it's called Lemonade, because it was born at a time of upheaval in our country and the world (and we want to make something good out of it).
