Hand stitching uncut

It’s a slow process, the time it takes to do a few stitches could do a whole row on a sewing machine. But it’s something I take pride in being able to do

Similar to playing a violin, when stitching you need a balance of weightless and heft, it’s flowing yet sharp, and fast but quiet. The beauty comes from control, consistency, and feel.

Just wanted to share a bit of my background

HanYan Blades is primarily the main reason I got into leather craft. They not only make amazing blades but also give them a unique cultural touch that I'd never seen among popular mainstream channels.

Handmade things have a certain beauty to them that can never be replicated by machines. The skill to forge a blade and carve it's sheath is amazing.

I only hope that one day my craft could be just as great as their blades.

Just sharing some of the feedback we've gotten over the last few months. It's always an honor and a blessing to make something for someone but I'm even more grateful when I get to hear back from them. Much love to the Wayfinder community thank you for all the support!🙏🏻

Eco A4 Wayfinder in Black Vegtan

Despite the Eco Wayfinders being the simplest style of journal that I make it is undoubtedly the most challenging to produce. The leather must speak for itself and it must carry its flaws with absolute pride.

Most of the hides I use are only really good enough for 2-3 journal main panels. With bigger sizes like A4 trifolds you probably can only get 1 or 2 if you are lucky with a blemish free hide.
