Breaking hard lines

This house is envisioned to be situated in a crowded residential area in the metro. The application of glass blocks intends to diffuse the view of the interior of the house from the outside. Lack of special finishes are intentional as the goal is to blend into its surroundings without attracting too much attention. Horizontal and vertical lines creates an illusion, making the structure look bigger than it really is. The spiral stairs, on the other hand, is intended to break the hard lines of the house making it look soft despite the application of straight edges.
