Isang mapagpalayang araw, Pilipinas!

As another academic year draws to a close, the pages of DโPost turn gently toward a new chapter โ one marked by gratitude, memories, and six remarkable bylines that have become part of the publicationโs story.
Within the pages of DโPost, the official campus publication of Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT), countless stories have been told, memories preserved, and student voices amplified. Behind those pages are individuals who dedicated their time, talent, and passion to campus journalism. As another chapter comes to a close, DโPost proudly honors six graduating staff members whose contributions helped shape the publication and leave a lasting mark on its story.
Leading the publication is Editor-in-Chief Ms. Zairel S. Medina, whose leadership was defined not only by her dedication to journalistic excellence but also by her care for the people behind every issue. She consistently motivated her fellow staff members to become better journalists and more responsible individuals, gently reminding them of deadlines, assignments, and commitments. Through her guidance, patience, and encouragement, she cultivated a newsroom culture rooted in accountability, teamwork, and continuous growth.
Alongside her is Writer Mr. Rosebeth D. Percol, whose words transformed campus events and experiences into meaningful narratives. Beyond uncovering facts and telling stories, his journey in journalism became a journey of self-discovery. Through writing, he not only sought the truth in the stories he covered but also found the courage to discover who he truly is and share that truth with the world. His articles reflected both insight and authenticity, making his voice a memorable part of DโPostโs pages.
Preserving stories through photography are Photojournalist Mr. Reynaldo M. Asugao Jr., whose quiet presence often spoke louder through his work than through words. While he preferred to stay behind the camera, his photographs consistently captured emotions, details, and moments that mattered most. With patience and a keen eye for storytelling, he documented campus life in a way that allowed memories to endure long after the moment had passed. Alongside his work in campus journalism, he remained committed to his studies, skillfully balancing academic responsibilities with publication duties. Through consistency, hard work, and quiet determination, he earned the distinction of Cum Laudeโan achievement that reflects the same dedication he brought to every photograph and story he helped preserve.
Joining him behind the lens is Photojournalist Mr. Alcher B. Manlapaz, whose confidence and passion were evident in every assignment he undertook. Whether covering major events or capturing candid moments, he approached each story with assurance and creativity. Through his lens, stories gained energy, perspective, and life, reflecting his confidence not only as a photographer but also as a storyteller.
Giving every issue its visual identity is Layout Artist Mr. Jonier G. Nierva. Known for his originality and creativity, he brought a unique touch to every page he designed. Rather than simply arranging text and photographs, he transformed them into visually engaging stories that reflected the publicationโs character. His fresh ideas and artistic vision helped make every issue distinctly DโPost, leaving a creative imprint that readers will remember.
Representing the Cawayan Campus is Writer Ms. Jane T. Hentica, whose contributions demonstrated that journalism transcends distance. Through her stories, she amplified voices, shared experiences, and strengthened the connection between campuses, ensuring that more members of the DEBESMSCAT community found representation within the publicationโs pages.
United by journalism yet shaped by different academic paths, Ms. Medina, Mr. Percol, Mr. Manlapaz, and Ms. Hentica is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in English. Meanwhile, Mr. Asugao completed his degree in Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in Science, while Mr. Nierva earned his degree in Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. Though their fields of study vary, their shared dedication to service, storytelling, and truth has brought them together within the pages of DโPost.
For years, these six staff members helped fill the pages of DโPost with stories that informed, inspired, and connected the college community. Through every deadline, coverage, and publication, they strengthened campus journalism within DEBESMSCAT and helped amplify student voices.
As they prepare to leave the newsroom and step into new horizons, they leave behind more than articles, photographs, and layouts. They leave stories worth remembering, moments worth preserving, and pages shaped by dedication and passion.
Yet graduation is not the end of their journalistic journey. Though they may soon leave the campus grounds, the values they cultivated as campus journalists will remain deeply rooted within them. They carry forward the responsibility to seek truth, tell stories with integrity, and listen to voices that deserve to be heard.
No one knows exactly what lies ahead for these six graduates. New paths and opportunities await beyond the campus gates. Yet one thing remains certain: the soul of journalism they nurtured within DโPost will continue to live in them. Wherever life leads, they will carry the courage to pursue truth, uphold freedom of expression, and use stories to inspire understanding and change.
Their names may soon appear on graduation programs rather than publication mastheads, but their contributions will remain etched across the pages of DโPost. As the publication turns another page, it does so with gratitude for six remarkable individuals whose pens, cameras, creativity, and commitment helped write a fruitful chapter worth remembering.

At Hindi Doon Magtatapos
