Ayon kay OCD Administrator, Undersecretary Harold Cabreros ang area ng Sarangani na lubhang naapektuhan ng malakas na lindol at nakapagtala ng malaking bilang ng casualties.

Sa huling datos na ibinahagi ni Usec. Cabreros kahapon ng umaga umakyat na sa 37 ang naitalang mula sa Region 11 at 12, habang 456 naman ang naitalang sugatan. Mahigit 19,000 ang naitalang apektadong pamilya mula sa Region XI at XII; mahigit 17,000 sa Region XII at mahigit 2,000 naman ang naitala sa Region XI.

Nag-deploy ng Quick Response Teams (QRTs) ang Department of Social Welfare and Deve­lopment (DSWD) sa evacuation sites sa Sarangani province sa Mindanao, upang agarang magbigay ng tulong sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan ng magnitude 7.8 na lindol na tumama sa naturang lugar ngayong Lunes.
