The Marshall Chronicles: Chapter 1
By Natalya Lagdameo

On view until October 4, 2025

Born from a doodle in a high school math class, Marshall is the oddball child of an alien father and a gumdrop mother. With his chubby body, spindly limbs, and endless changes of costume, he reflects Natalya Lagdameo’s love of playful contradictions, her instinct to explore identity through form, and as a way of releasing her inner “weird”.

Over time, Marshall has grown into an enduring character carrying that strangeness with humor, and turning him into a reminder that art can make the world lighter, stranger, and more joyful, one Marshall at a time.

A quiet tribute to tradition—each hand-forged piece a story of craft, resilience, and time-honored skill.

Studio 925 unveils metalworks that have long stayed unseen—created by both students and instructors. These pieces reflect a shared dedication to preserving slow, meaningful craft in a fast-paced world. Through this showcase, generations of skill and learning come together in a living expression of tradition.

MANO MANO marks 10 years of Studio 925, a school and shared creative space nurturing a new generation of bench jewelers and metalsmiths. In its first-ever studio exhibition, long-hidden works are brought into the light—each piece a quiet rebellion against mass production and a tribute to the hands that shaped them.

This exhibit is dedicated to Redenta “Eden” Villegas Arias.

As a question that alludes to the problem-solving involved in creative practices, and what this involves, what does it look like? Problem-solving rides on other creative activities, producing
work tangentially from what we regard as “exhibition worthy”. The propositions for your
consideration range from objects that straddle art & design, from furniture to clothes and plates.
