Vision Creative Unit mentee Cedrick Labadia achieved a milestone with his film "threefor100". A part of iNDIEGENIUS Batch 1 as a Vision Scholar, he then won awards at the Directors' Guild of the Philippines, Inc. - DGPI's PITCHES before getting green-lit by the Manila Film Festival.

Not only did he win "Best Director" and "Best Film", his teammate from iACADEMY also won the award for "Best Art Direction"!

He then went on to represent the Philippines at the 부산국제영화제 Busan International Film Festival (BIFF)!!!

Proof that iACADEMY's iNDIEGENIUS Project Lab works!

Run by the Vision Creative Unit, iNDIEGENIUS has been able to mentor numerous young filmmakers and their projects. A number of Batch 1's participants have gone on to get their projects produced (not to mention win awards) and Batch 2, which Kyla Romero is a part of, includes VISION mentees, whose film "Runo!" made QCINEMA history as the first completely animated short directed by students. Other members of Batch 2 include a groundbreaking VR documentary!

Runo Studios is at it again, this time with a moving tale honoring the director's late mother. For those of you who ever had loved ones with a serious illness, you understand this hits close to the heart.
