The Magic 1089 Trick
1. Pick any three-digit number, where the first and last digits are different (e.g., 532).
2. Reverse the digits (e.g., 235).
3. Subtract the smaller number from the larger one:
4. Reverse the result (e.g., 792).
5. Add the reversed number to the original result:
No matter what three-digit number you start with, you'll always end up with 1089!
✨ How to Quickly Multiply by 11 ✨
Want to multiply any two-digit number by 11 in seconds? Follow this trick!
Example: 42 × 11
1️⃣ Take the two digits of the number (4 and 2).
2️⃣ Add them together (4 + 2 = 6).
3️⃣ Place the sum between the original digits: 462.
✅ 42 × 11 = 462!
Another example:
35 × 11 → 3 (3+5) 5 → 385
💡 If the sum is 10 or more, carry over the extra digit!
Example: 76 × 11
7 + 6 = 13 → Place 3 in the middle and add 1 to 7:
836 (not 716)
