The said benchmarking is in light with their Project entitled Strengthening Science based and policy-Informed Industry-Level Support to Enhance the Viability of Bamboo-based Enterprise in Laguna

On November 21, 2024, the PSAU Bamboo and Rattan RDE Center assisted in gathering kawayang tinik leaves for certification. These leaves will be used as raw materials for BS Pharmacy students' undergraduate thesis on cream formulation at the University of the Assumption. The PSAU Bamboo and Rattan RDE Center welcomes Dr. Rachid El Hafid for his Campus Tour.

Dr. Hafid will be one of the Lecturer on the upcomming training on Capacity Enhancement in Packaging Project Proposals integrated with Agri-Business Components for selected Faculty Extensionists of the University.

The Forestry Development Center of the College of Forestry and Natural Resources, University of the Philippines Los Baños, conducted a Key Informant Interview to Forester AJ Aquino , head of PSAU Bamboo and Rattan RDE Center and two (2) Bamboo planters/farmer partners of PSAU.

This is in line with their three-year project titled "Project 3. Imperatives of Policy and Leveraging Stakeholders and National Entities towards Institutionalizing BRITEMAP (IMPLEMENT BRITEMAP)". This is part of the DOST-PCAARRD program titled "Bamboo Resources Inventory and Technology-Enabled Mapping in the Philippines (BRITEMAP)".

For. AJ Aquino, head of PSAU Bamboo and Rattan RDE Center was invited as Resource Speaker by the Department of Agriculture - Regional Field Office III - High Value Crop Development Program (DA-RFO III-HVCDP) during the "World Bamboo Day Webinar".

For. Aquino focused his discussion on the Bamboo Cultivation and the PSAU Accomplishments on Bamboo Propagation techniques.

The PSAU Bamboo and Rattan RDE Center welcomes the Department of Entomology, Collehe of Agriculture Benguet State University for their Benchmarking activities.

The PSAU Bamboo and Rattan RDE Center welcomes OJT Practitioners from the Department of Forestry and Agroforestry as venue for their learning experience.

Initially, the students are tasks to conduct Bamboo Biological assessment being assisted by Melchor De Lara and Jayson Inocencio BRRDEC's Field worker and Research Assistant respectively.

The PSAU Bamboo and Rattan RDE Center welcomes back the Dominican College of Tarlac for their Study tour activities from May 21 and 22 2024.

The DCT were composed of 180 College of Education 2nd year students of Science Technology and Society.

The DCT also visited the PSAU Tamarind RDE Center and ALIAS RDE Center
