Matthew 22:14
“For many are called, but few are chosen.”
God is still calling people today, but being chosen requires surrender, obedience, and a heart fully devoted to Him. Many want the blessing, but few are willing to carry the cross. Many want the crown, but few are willing to live holy before God.
The chosen are those who stay faithful even when nobody sees them. They pray when they are tired. They worship even in pain. They study the Word not just for knowledge, but because they hunger for God’s presence.
The chosen fear God more than they fear people. They protect their relationship with Him. They walk away from sin, compromise, and worldly desires because they know their life belongs to Jesus.
God is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for willing hearts. Hearts that will obey Him completely. Hearts that will say “yes” even when it costs comfort, relationships, or popularity.
In a generation full of distractions, be someone who prioritizes God. Seek Him daily. Live holy. Stay prayerful. Remain obedient.
Not everyone called is chosen, because the chosen are the ones who remain faithful to the end.
Pastor Armando Daquis.

WHO TOUCHED ME?
*(Luke 8:43–48)*
In the middle of a pressing crowd, one quiet touch changed everything.
A woman, burdened for twelve long years, carried not just sickness, but silent suffering, rejection, and fading hope. Yet deep within her was a spark of faith. She believed, *“If I can just touch His garment, I will be healed.”* And in that single moment of reaching out, her life was restored.
When Jesus asked, Who touched Me? it wasn’t because He didn’t know, it was because He wanted to reveal a powerful truth: faith, even when small and trembling, never goes unnoticed.
So many were around Him that day, but only one touched Him with faith.
**Unbelief is the enemy of our faith.** It whispers doubt, magnifies fear, and keeps us from reaching out. But faith! real, persistent, courageous faith—draws us closer to God and opens the door for His power to move in our lives.
Maybe you’re in a crowd, feeling unseen. Maybe you’ve been waiting for healing, breakthrough, or peace. Don’t let unbelief hold you back. Reach out in faith.
Because one touch, one genuine moment of faith.. can change everything.
Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.* ✨

Happy Labor Day to every Filipino whose hands keep this country alive.
To the fishermen who brave rough seas before dawn, the farmers who endure heat and rain to feed the nation, the jeepney drivers who carry people through crowded streets, the construction workers who build our cities, the vendors who work from sunrise to nightfall, the delivery riders who keep daily life moving, the nurses and healthcare workers who care for the sick, the teachers who shape young minds, the factory workers, janitors, security guards, office staff, and countless others whose names are often forgotten, this day is for you.
Let us stop romanticizing resilience as if hardship is something to praise. Filipinos were never meant to survive on endless sacrifice alone. Strength should not be measured by how much suffering a person can endure in silence.
The true worth of every Filipino worker is not found in how much they can sacrifice, but in how deeply they contribute to the life of this nation.
They are not just workers. They are the backbone of the country.
Behind every meal served, every road traveled, every building standing, every classroom learning, every hospital functioning, and every community surviving is the labor of Filipinos who deserve more than applause. They deserve dignity, fair wages, rest, protection, and a life where they do not have to suffer just to survive.
Today, we honor the people who carry the nation on their backs.

HABAKKUK 3:17-18
17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
~
Will you still worship the Lord even when your prayers haven’t been answered yet?
Will you still lift His name in your season of waiting… in uncertainty… in dryness?
Book of Habakkuk 3:17–18 - a kind of faith that goes beyond what we see and feel. A faith that chooses to rejoice even when there is no visible fruit, no clear progress, no immediate breakthrough.
A faith that says, ‘Even if everything around me seems empty, I will still praise.
It’s easy to worship when prayers are answered, when doors open, and when blessings overflow. But true surrender is revealed in the quiet seasons, when God seems silent, when the waiting feels long, and when your heart is tired but still hopeful.
So today, choose to rejoice. Not because everything is perfect, but because God is still faithful. Not because you understand the process, but because you trust the One who holds your future.
Even in the waiting… even in the silence… even in the dryness. I will rejoice in the Lord!
So I will rejoice… not because everything is good, but because God is still good.

1 Corinthians 15:10
Grace is a gift freely given by God. Since He has given it to us, we should value it, take care of it, and never take it for granted. Just as we treasure the things given by the people we love, how much more should we cherish the grace that comes from God.
His grace is not only a blessing, it is something to live by, honour, and be thankful for every day.
20 blessed years of God’s faithfulness, love and unending grace. Through every trial, every victory, every season of hardship, the Lord has been our strenght and foundation.
Two decades have passed, yet his grace has never failed us. He carried the church through storms, lifted us in weakness, and continued to grow us in faith and unity. If we are still standing today, it is only because of HIM.
ALL BECAUSE OF HIS GRACE!
