From September to November 2024, Pangkat ADHIKA has established valuable relationships and taken beneficial activities for the Sitio Camachile as well as other entities that wanted to help with our project. ⁣
⁣
Together, we have donated 315 boxes of medications and multivitamins, organized a dental mission and IP HR education session, and given roughly 34 fruit-bearing seedlings and 9 packs of seeds. And without you 🫵 none of these would have been possible! 🙂‍↕️⁣

Thus, as we entirely wrap up this beautiful journey, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who supported us not only with monetary and in-kind contributions but also to everyone who accompanied us both physically and spiritually as we braved through all the highs and lows of this cause.🍀⁣

On November 19, 2024, Project ADHIKA implemented its last program: 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 🌱 and an 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 🗣️ on Indigenous People’s rights, held at Sitio Camachile, Barangay Nabuklod.

The group provided seedlings of eggplant, ginger and calamansi, and seeds of bitter gourd, squash, string beans, cucumber, and peanuts to promote sustainable farming among the community. These donations aim to support the Aeta people’s agricultural livelihood while fostering food security.

The highlight of the day was the educational discussion on Indigenous People’s rights, led by Chairperson Thomas Franco of ALPAS-TAYO. The talk served to empower the community and advocate for the protection and recognition of their rights.

On 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, Pangkat ADHIKA successfully implemented its first program: a 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 🦷 and the 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 💊, held at Sitio Camachile Health Center. 🎉

The dental mission made fruitful with the help of Dr. Leonardo Dizon Dental Clinic, provided 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙮𝙡𝙖𝙭𝙞𝙨 (teeth cleaning) and 𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 (pasta) for 𝟰𝟬+ 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 from kinder and grades 5 to 6. All children were given 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀 🪥 to help maintain their newly cleaned pearly whites.

The group also turned over a total of 𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲 (𝟵) 𝗯𝗼𝘅𝗲𝘀 🎁 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 ranging from multivitamins to OTCs, basic medical supplies, weighing scale, and a digital blood pressure monitor.

Pangkat ADHIKA extends its 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲. To all the volunteers, partners, sponsors, donors, and the Sitio Camachile elders and health workers — we give utmost thanks to all of you. 💙
