LUVWI - Luna Chapter convened for its First Quarter Meeting led by President Jonabeth Villa and Chairperson Kyle Hannah Pinzon and attended by LUVWI Luna Officers, Board of Directors (BOD), and members.

The group also paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Gary N. Pinzon discussing accomplishments and plans moving forward. Mayor Gary expressed his gratitude to LUVWI Luna for all its impactful initiatives that benefit the community.

New President of Association of Barangay Captains in Luna Ms. Allyza Mae V. Villa was also welcomed as a new BOD of the group while former LUVWI Luna Chairperson Rufina Pinzon was also present.

LUVWI Luna renewed its members' commitment as a more active civil society organization.

LUVWI - Luna Chapter led by Chairperson Kyle Hannah Pinzon took part in the conduct of the Children and Youth Health Summit 2023 wherein a total of 625 vibrant students actively participated in discussions on timely and relevant topics involving them.

Around 300 Zumba enthusiasts participated in the La Union Vibrant Women, Inc. - Luna Chapter's Health and Wellness program as the organization continuously emphasizes women empowerment. Different Zumba Groups in Luna and neighboring towns joined the activity.

The LUVWI - Luna Chapter commits to conduct activities that promote and highlight the role of women in the society.

A total of 835 students participated in the Youth Advocacy Program of LUVWI - Luna Chapter in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Luna.

Discussions revolved on topics on Reproductive Health and HIV Awareness discussed by Ms. Tephanie Ruth Remorin, Nurse II and HIV Coordinator of the Provincial Health Office and Responsible Social Media Use by Mutia ti Luna 2022 Marcela Isabel Natiola.

There were 637 participants from Luna National High School and 198 from Luna Vocational National High School on February 2, 2023.

LUVWI-Luna Officers welcomed Mutia ti Luna 2022 Marcela Isabel Natiola as its Honorary Member. Other matters discussed in the meeting are the upcoming activities and advocacies of the organization.
