The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7 under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐋 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐒, 𝐉𝐑, 𝘿𝙎𝘾, Regional Director, Bohol Provincial Fire Office, headed by 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈Ñ𝐎, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐃𝐏𝐀, together with the Loon Fire Station personnel spearheaded by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐑 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐫., 𝐂𝐄, 𝐌𝐏𝐀, Officer-In-Charge, joined hands to prepare the school of Loon South National High School, Cuasi, Loon, Bohol for the opening of classes and to promote a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for all learners, in support of the Brigada Eskwela Program for School Year 2026–2027.

The Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide school maintenance program that engages all education stakeholders to contribute time, effort, and resources to ensure that public schools are ready in time for the opening of classes.

With the spirit of bayanihan, we conducted cleaning and safety inspections to ensure school facilities are ready for classes. This collective effort reflects our shared commitment to education, community service, and the welfare of every student.

Beyond putting out fires, we are dedicated to preventing them and protecting our communities—especially our learners and educators. This initiative is our way of supporting education and promoting a culture of safety right where it matters most.

Together, we build not only better schools but also a stronger and safer future for our children.

Yesterday’s event, 01 0630H June 2026, the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7 under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐋 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐒, 𝐉𝐑, 𝘿𝙎𝘾, Regional Director, Bohol Provincial Fire Office, headed by 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈Ñ𝐎, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐃𝐏𝐀, together with the Loon Fire Station personnel spearheaded by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐑 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐫., 𝐂𝐄, 𝐌𝐏𝐀, Officer-In-Charge, actively participated in the 2026 DIVISION BRIGADA ESKWELA KICK-OFF ACTIVITY with this year theme: " Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman" held at Loon Northeast National High School, Bagacay Saong, Loon, Bohol.

The day began with deployment personnel at Loon North Central Elementary School providing support and convoying DepEd officials, teaching personnel, and participants attending the 2026 Division Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Activity. Personnel ensured the orderly movement of vehicles, facilitated traffic management, and maintained safety measures throughout the convoy route. The activity was conducted smoothly and successfully, contributing to the safe and organized transport of participants to the event venue.

The activity, conducted in support of the Department of Education's annual Brigada Eskwela Program, gathered various stakeholders, including local government officials, teachers, parents, community volunteers, and partner agencies, who pledged their commitment to ensuring that schools are safe, clean, and conducive to learning in preparation for the opening of classes.

Guided by the spirit of bayanihan, this initiative promotes unity, volunteerism, and shared responsibility in creating a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment conducive to quality education. Through collective efforts and active participation, we continue to strengthen partnerships that support the holistic development and well-being of every learner.

The participation of Loon Fire Station in the Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Ceremony reflects its continuing commitment to community engagement and its support for programs that promote education, youth development, and public service. Through a community symposium and forum, residents were educated on the importance of fire prevention and reminded of their vital role in maintaining a fire-safe community. The activity promoted cooperation, preparedness, and shared responsibility in preventing fire incidents in the barangay.

It promotes fire safety awareness, encourages community cooperation with the BFP, prepares families for fire emergencies, shares fire safety information, and strengthens the relationship between firefighters and the community.

𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐘. The Bumbero Tourist Safety Officer activity was successfully conducted through the deployment of personnel at the Catagbacan International Sea Port, Catagbacan Norte, Loon, Bohol to ensure the safety and security of tourists, passengers, and port personnel.

During the operation, fire safety leaflets and informational materials were distributed to passengers and visitors to educate them on basic fire prevention, emergency response procedures, and safety reminders while traveling.

The activity aimed to strengthen public awareness on fire safety, enhance emergency preparedness, and promote the presence of the Bureau of Fire Protection as a reliable public safety partner in protecting lives and properties.

Sa collapsed-structure rescue, hindi puwedeng basta na lang sumugod nang walang pag-iingat. Bawat galaw ay mahalaga dahil puwedeng gumuho ulit anumang oras ang mga debris. Kapag minadali o padalos-dalos ang pag-alis ng mabibigat na materyales, mas lalo nitong puwedeng masaktan ang mga naipit na biktima o magdulot pa ng panibagong collapse na maglalagay sa panganib pati sa mga rescuer.
