February 27, 2026 | City Health Immersion Day 10
The final day of our City Health immersion has finally come to pass, leaving us filled with experiences that will remain engraved in our memories as we continue our journey toward becoming medical professionals. Throughout this immersion, we gained not only knowledge but also a deeper understanding of service, responsibility, and compassion in healthcare.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Doc Mark for sharing advanced insights into medical topics while also challenging us to reflect on why we chose this path. His lessons encouraged us to think beyond textbooks and to truly understand the purpose behind our aspirations. We are equally thankful to Doc Sonya for her enthusiasm in teaching us, from patient diagnostics to meaningful life stories that reminded us of the human side of medicine. Our sincere appreciation also goes to Doc Marian for allowing us to witness what lies ahead in this profession and for offering guidance that will help shape our future. We thank the medical staff, midwives, and barangay health workers who welcomed us and patiently taught us the basics of assisting in the health center. Through them, we realized that healthcare often involves quiet sacrifices and unrecognized efforts, yet their dedication to serving the community never wavers. Witnessing their passion was truly inspiring, and this experience has become a memorable part of our journey that we will carry with gratitude in our hearts.
It has truly been a fun and memorable experience. We sincerely thank everyone at Dr. Santiago Health Center for giving us moments to look back on and lessons to carry forward.

Knowledge Gained: Insights from the Final Day at ITCPH Farm ๐ท๐ฝ
On our last day of immersion, we had the valuable opportunity to observe real-world farm operations and learn about poultry management, animal care, and farm productivity. While minor challenges with coordination among co-immersion mates occurred, these moments highlighted the importance of patience, teamwork, and effective communication in professional environments. Every step of the day reinforced the connection between classroom knowledge and practical application.
A highlight of the day was observing the hens laying eggs, giving us firsthand insight into poultry reproduction, hygiene practices, and operational efficiency. This experience emphasized the significance of experiential learning, not only enhancing our technical skills but also shaping our professional growth and problem-solving abilities. Overall, the immersion was a meaningful reminder that knowledge is best understood when paired with real-world experience.

Our final day of work immersion at Sen. Claro M. Recto Integrated Memorial School โ SNED (Special Needs Education Department) was both a celebration and a quiet farewell. We spent the morning with the students, teachers, and some parents through a short Zumba session and mini games. We also distributed loot bags to the children, a small gesture that carried so much joy when returned with their bright smiles.
Since it was Socialization Day, we made sure to truly be present; to talk, laugh, and bond with the students in ways that went beyond structured activities. We also assisted the Hearing Impairment Department during their dance practice in preparation for their performance this March, witnessing once again their dedication and teamwork.
As our immersion comes to an end, we are deeply thankful for the opportunity to learn and serve. We extend our sincere gratitude to the teachers of SNED for their guidance, patience, and unwavering dedication. Beyond the lessons and responsibilities, we leave with solid memories and genuine connections. Our hearts have grown closer, not only to the learners, but also to the teachers and fellow interns who shared this journey with us. More than skills, we gained understanding. More than experience, we gained perspective. And that is something we will always carry with us.

๐โจ DAY 10 | WEEK 2 โ FINAL DAY | MISSION. SERVICE. SUCCESS. | Work Immersion 2026 โจ๐
๐ป๐ The finish line has been reached! Today marks the conclusion of our ten-day journey at the City Social Welfare and Development Office, and we are ending it with a powerful sense of accomplishment. What began as a series of orientation sessions has evolved into a high-impact mission, as we spent our final hours ensuring every single file, payroll, and survey was perfectly organized for turnover.
Todayโs results reflect the power of collective effort: we successfully finalized the Occupancy Verification Survey (OVS) for 2,800 families, processed thousands of single-parent and pensioner payrolls, and completed over 50 relocation files. To leave a lasting legacy of efficiency, we also scanned over 30 critical documents and reorganized the departmentโs digital bookmarks and filing systems, ensuring the CSWDO staff can continue their vital work with streamlined precision.
As we officially "time out" for the last time, we bring with us more than just a completed requirement. We carry the lessons of empathy, the value of digital efficiency, and the fulfillment that comes from serving the people of Lipa City. We are deeply grateful to the CSWDO for trusting us with this responsibility. Mission accomplished! ๐ผ๐โจ

๐โจ DAY 9 | WEEK 2 โ FOURTH DAY | PRECISION. RESILIENCE. INTEGRITY. | Work Immersion 2026 โจ๐
๐ป๐ As we approach the final stretch of our journey at the City Social Welfare and Development Office, todayโs focus shifted from the speed of progress to the depth of accuracy. Every record we handle represents a family in our community, and today we prioritized the meticulous auditing and verification of our collective outputs to ensure that no detail was overlooked.
The day tested our resourcefulness and crisis management. When faced with technical hurdles and potential data risks, the team demonstrated professional foresight by utilizing pre-prepared backup systems and maintaining a composed mindset. By successfully cross-checking the Antipolo del Norte profiles and final relocation assessments, we proved that composure under pressure is just as vital as technical skill.
Though the mental fatigue of the week is present, our dedication remains unwavering. We are not just finishing tasks; we are safeguarding the integrity of the cityโs social service data. As we prepare for our final turnover, we carry with us a strengthened sense of accountability and the pride of knowing that our hard work contributes to a more organized and efficient future for Lipa City. ๐ผ๐๐

Our last day at the ๐๐ข๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ was nothing short of meaningful. We started the morning with our usual routinesโscanning and docketingโmaking sure to finish our responsibilities with the same dedication we had since day one.
Later on, Atty. Santos invited us to attend a Committee Hearing on Barangay Boundary Disputes together with our co-interns. Being able to witness an actual hearing once again reminded us of how important precision, patience, and professionalism are in legal work.
After returning to the office, we went back to our respective stations. Some continued docketing and scanning, while others were guided through the process of notarizing documentsโanother learning experience added to our journey.
In the afternoon, Atty. Lipat called each immersionist one by one for a personal talk in his office. Those short conversations felt special and sincere, giving us words of advice and encouragement that we will carry beyond this immersion.
As our time here comes to an end, we leave with grateful heartsโthankful for the lessons, the mentorship, and the people who made every day worthwhile. What started as just a requirement turned into an experience we will always treasure.

February 26, 2026 | Day 9 of Immersion
Day 9 was a remarkable and eye-opening experience as we attended a session on Artificial Insemination in swine production. The activity allowed us to witness firsthand one of the most important technologies used in modern livestock management.
We were first introduced to the boars, where we observed the proper procedures involved in semen collection. Seeing the process up close helped us understand the level of care, precision, and expertise required in handling breeder animals. It emphasized the importance of proper management practices to ensure quality and efficiency in production.
Afterward, we proceeded to the laboratory where we were introduced to the equipment used for semen analysis. We learned how samples are evaluated, how extenders are added to preserve viability, and how the semen is carefully prepared and packed for distribution in the market. Each step highlighted the role of science and technology in improving reproductive performance and supporting the swine industry.
Todayโs experience broadened our understanding of livestock husbandry by connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world application. Day 9 reminded us that innovation, accuracy, and responsibility are essential in sustaining productivity and quality in animal production.
