On 0600𝗛 09 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 2026, at the 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗹, the PSU Lingayen ROTC Unit proudly participated in the 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗱-𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗻, in solemn commemoration of the 84𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻.

Anchored on the theme, “𝗔𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗽𝘂𝗽𝘂𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴,” the activity served as a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering patriotism of our Filipino heroes.

Following the commemorative walk, a 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 was conducted, participated in by:

The event was further enriched as participants were graced with 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗜𝗜 𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 through an Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP). These narratives play a vital role in preserving our nation’s history—bridging past and present—while instilling a deeper sense of gratitude, identity, and responsibility among the youth.

This commemoration highlights the enduring significance of Araw ng Kagitingan—not only as a remembrance of heroism but as a call to embody the same courage, unity, and love for country in today’s generation.

After the program, all participants proceeded to the 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗹 to conduct a 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲. This initiative emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship, reminding us that service to the nation extends beyond remembrance—it is reflected through our actions in protecting and preserving our surroundings.

More than a ceremonial gathering, this event opened the minds of the youth to the realities of the past—how our veterans fought valiantly for our freedom—and inspired us to uphold and defend the independence they have secured.

With the theme, “𝘼𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙮 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙥𝙪𝙥𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙖 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙪𝙢𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜,” let us march together in honor of the bravery, sacrifice, and heroism of our Filipino veterans.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | In support of community traditions and youth empowerment, ROTC Cadets proudly rendered 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 during the Coronation Night held on 30 March 2026, at Umangan Elementary School, Umangan, Mangatarem, Pangasinan.

The Royal Guard formation added solemnity and prestige to the celebration, symbolizing discipline, respect, and service—core values instilled in every ROTC cadet. As the candidates gracefully walked during the Coronation Night, ensuring order and ceremonial excellence throughout the event. This event was participated by the following:

The training was carried out under the leadership of 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘁𝗶𝗺 𝗜𝗡𝗙 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁, with the supervision of 𝗖𝗽𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗗 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗮 (𝗤𝗠𝗦) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗖𝗢.

At 0700𝗛, cadets assembled for Morning Formation, Accounting, and Flag Raising Ceremony, achieving full accountability while demonstrating strict compliance with prescribed uniform standards. A thorough inspection was likewise conducted to reinforce discipline, military bearing, and attention to detail—setting a professional tone for the day’s activities.

From 0730𝗛 to 0900𝗛, Battalion Formation was carried out, strengthening command presence and reinforcing the chain of command. Key instructions and updates were disseminated in preparation for the upcoming Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI), ensuring clarity of mission and synchronized ex*****on among all companies.

A key highlight of the 8th Training Day was the continued involvement of the 71st Infantry (Kaibigan) Battalion, who supervised and assisted in RAATI-related preparations. Their presence provided valuable guidance and technical expertise, particularly in refining drill and ceremony, enhancing tactical proficiency, and validating administrative procedures. Personnel from the 71st IB conducted hands-on coaching, corrective demonstrations, and performance evaluations—ensuring that cadets met the required standards of military excellence. Their mentorship significantly contributed to improving the unit’s overall readiness and confidence for the upcoming inspection.

From 0900𝗛 to 1200𝗛, cadets proceeded to their designated training areas where focused and intensified exercises were conducted. Emphasis was placed on administrative organization, precision in drill movements, and tactical coordination. With the supervision of both ROTC Training Staff and 71st IB personnel, cadets addressed deficiencies, strengthened competencies, and aligned their performance with RAATI standards.

At 1500𝗛, the 8th Training Day concluded with Final Accounting and Dismissal, marking another productive and mission-oriented milestone for the corps.

The PSU Lingayen ROTC Unit continues to uphold its commitment to excellence, leadership, and discipline—steadfast in its mission of developing competent, responsive, and service-driven citizen-soldiers ready to meet the demands of national service.

The training was carried out under the leadership of 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘁𝗶𝗺 𝗜𝗡𝗙 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁, with the supervision of 𝗖𝗽𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗗 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗮 (𝗤𝗠𝗦) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗖𝗢.
