The Public Employment Service Office (PESO), headed by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗡𝗼𝗲𝗹 𝗕. 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀 of the Local Government Unit of Linamon, in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Provincial Office of Iligan City, successfully conducted a Career Guidance and Employment Coaching session for the GRADE 12 students of 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥.

𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗘. 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮ñ𝗼𝗴, 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗜 from the DOLE Provincial Field Office of Iligan City and Lanao del Norte, delivered an insightful discussion on labor market trends, career planning, and opportunities available for the youth.

This initiative aimed to empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions as they prepare for their future careers.

On March 2, 2026, the Purakan Small Coconut Farmers Agriculture Cooperative began preparing a Project Proposal for its Charcoal Briquettes Project to avail of the DOLE Group Livelihood Program (DGLP).
The program, initiated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), provides grant assistance (not a loan) to organized groups, empowering communities to build sustainable and income-generating enterprises.

This initiative is being undertaken in coordination with the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐃𝐌𝐖) to help monitor the situation of our OFWs and ensure that appropriate assistance can be provided should the need arise.
